fault
We are afraid of the darkness descending,
of night,
we contaminate the light,
we diminish the bright,
we say our wrongs are right,
we delude and veil our sight,
can't you see this endless pattern?
can't you see how this will end?
can't you see our cycle of human nature?
we are our own destruction.
we are our own destruction.
The skies are tainted with our
ghosts, our own night
we created with our unclean hands
and when darkness descends,
it is our fault.
And we will get what we reap.
