You were at school and you were walking through the halls.
"Y/n!", you hear from behind. You turn around and spot your best friend running towards you with balloons. "Happy birthday!"
You laugh as she finally gets to you and hugs you tightly, "Thanks."
"Wow," you hear Bethany say, "the whore lived another year." She turned to one of her followers and said, "I owe you five bucks."
Her and her friends started laughing.
"Don't worry about her, she's a heartless freak.", your best friend said as she walked by your side to the front of the school.
"Did you just get here?", you ask as tie the balloons to your backpack.
"Yep. Didn't want to come and I'm grounded so, I'm not allowed to go out, but here I am. Picking my best friend up from school on her birthday.", she said as you guys approached her car.
You both got in and you ask, "So you're not allowed to be here?"
"That's right.", she said, buckling herself up. "So where are we going?"
"You're going home. I will not be the cause of you getting yelled at.", you said buckling yourself up.
She started the car and said, "Let me at least get you some Starbucks."
You gave her a look and said, "If you insist."
She cheered and drove off. Once you arrived, you and your best friend got inside and ordered your usual.
You both sat down and began talking about Bethany.
"God, I bet her ass is rich because her mom is such a gold digger!", y/b/f said.
"Well, her mom has been married more than 5 times, that is the only explanation.", you said, jokingly.
You both begin to laugh and her phone rings.
She answers the call and immediately starts packing her things. She hung up and said, "I totally forgot to pick my little brother up, I have to go. Need a ride?"
"No it's cool, my house is a few blocks down.", you said, with a smile.
She hugged and wished you a happy birthday and promised to make up for the interruption. She walked out and began packing your things.
You looked at the time on your phone and it was 5, then you set it down on the table. You and your best friend sat there for two whole hours.
Woah, you thought.
You began to pack your things and looked outside.
It looked cloudy.
I could make it back before it starts raining... right?, you asked yourself.
