".. They say that time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't done much healing .."
I think the hardest part of losing someone, isn't have to say goodbye, but rather having to live without them. Always trying to fill the void, the emptiness that's left inside your heart when they go. To lose someone you love is to alter your life forever. . .
The pain stops, there are new people but the gap never closes..
There's just this hole in your heart in the shape of the one you lost-
and no one else can ever fill it..
The reality is, you will grieve forever. You won't be able to "get over" the loss of someone you held close to your heart, you'll just learn to live with it. Grief is a very powerful and complicated emotion; and the sad part is at some point in your life, you will go through it.
There are five stages of grief; denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally acceptance. They look different on everyone, everyone goes through each stage in their own order, but there is always five. For some people, they won't even be able to get past the first stage.. The saddest part, I think, is the moment you think you're past it..
it starts all over again.
It's a rare and extraordinary feeling falling in love with someone, but really falling in love with them that you love all of them with your mind, heart, and soul. If you've ever fallen in love so deeply, that you can't picture a future with anyone else because you pictured it all with them.. if you've ever loved someone so deep that you completely break when they're suddenly taken from you because you thought there would always be more time..
it hurts so much that you can't breathe, that you don't know what the next step is because you don't know how to pick yourself back up without the person who's always helped you off the floor... When you lose the person closest to your heart, you feel like you've lost everything.. like nothing in the world matters because your entire world was ripped away from you in the blink of an eye. . .
if you've ever loved anyone that way then you can picture the way Savannah Knight and Stiles Stilinski loved each other. You might begin to scratch the surface on imagining what Stiles Stilinski is going through after losing the love of his life, after losing the other part of him...
When Stiles lost Savannah, he felt like he lost everything..
How do you come back from something like that?
Stiles couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep because when he did, he got nightmares. He lost Savannah, she was gone and he was never going to see her again. She was never coming back. They wouldn't get back together, they wouldn't graduate high school together, they wouldn't go off to college, they wouldn't be able to get married, they wouldn't be able to have kids and tell them about their silly adventures. . . They wouldn't be able to do anything Stiles dreamed of doing because she was gone..
