26. The Heart Does Go On

Savannah and Derek were sitting there, watching Christmas specials that Derek could never be bothered with before but.. 

now he has a reason to. 

He couldn't help but smile the entire time, glad that he was still managing to take away some of Savannah's pain. She deserved to smile, feel happy because her smile to him, it's like the freaking sun. She's a beautiful gorgeous  candle in a darkness. 

But just as they started to enjoy themselves, really be able to relax despite everything happening that's when Savannah heard her phone going off. She sighed, apologizing to Derek as she stood up and went to answer it. She noticed Stiles name on the screen, rolling her eyes slightly. She still was pissed at him, taking away the moment to end Kate's life and get her revenge, for flipping out about her and Derek when there isn't even a her and Derek, and for lying to her. She was pissed but she did tell Lydia to call if anything was wrong. 

So hopefully this is because Lydia's phone is dead and not some kind of trick for her to talk to him. 

"What?" Savannah answered the phone in annoyance. When she didn't hear Stiles say anything, all she heard was noise and what sounded like a struggle. She covered her ear with one hand, trying to focus on the noise coming from the phone. "Hey? Stiles? Lydia? Anyone there?" She called out again, hearing some grunting before her eyes went wide at what she heard next. 

"Someone, help! Help us!" 

"Hey? Hey, Stiles. Lydia. What's wrong? What's happening? Hello? Can anyone hear me?" Savannah began panicking, by now getting Derek's attention as he turned off the tv and walked over to her. Savannah squeezed her eyes shut, trying to focus on the sounds that were coming out from the other end of the phone. "Stiles, Lydia? What's happening? Where are you guys?" Savannah asked one more time before they heard something that sounded like a struggle until the phone went dead. 

Savannah let out a sharp breath, slowly turning to look at Derek. "What happened?" Derek asked her. 

"I-I don't know but I think something's wrong.." She slowly shook her head, trying to decide what to do. Then suddenly it popped in her head. If something was wrong, she was going to find them and get them home safe. And the last place they said they'd be was Eichen House. So that's where she was going to go. 

Savannah quickly ran over to get her jacket, throwing it on while Derek tried talking her into slowly down and taking a breath. "There's no time. Stiles and Lydia are in trouble and I have to go find them.." Savannah looked at Derek, seeing the distraught look in his face. 

It was obvious he didn't want her going; he didn't want her to get hurt or killed. I mean she was number one on the deadpool and no one still knows why or what she truly is yet. there's no telling what she can do or can't do. And Derek doesn't want her getting hurt especially since he can't protect her like he used to. But Derek knew she needed to do this, needed to and had to.
