❝ Tried to keep you close to me
But life got in between..❞
"It's really strange.." Derek said, walking down the street side by side with Savannah in his arms. After finishing setting up the loft for Scott's date with Kira, Derek and Savannah decided to go out. Neither of them seemed to have gone out in who knows how long. And they deserved a nice night out after everything that's happened. So as Derek promised, he took her to eat and now they were taking a quiet and relaxing walk. She looked up at him, confused asking him what he meant. "I'm happy..it's just it doesn't seem real to me, it seems like a dream. I don't think I've ever been this happy or content in my life."
"Maybe because it's not..it's better." Savannah smiled. "I don't think I ever properly thanked you.." Savannah smiled, messing with Derek's finger tips before looking up into his eyes. "..for helping me..For believing in me and always having my back, always wanting the best for me and trying to stop me from losing my soul again..even though if that's all i wanted to do. I don't know what I'd do without you.."
Derek smiled to himself, looking down at the ground. He was speechless, he didn't have any words. But maybe the time for words was done. It was time to take action. He smiled to himself, slowly cupping her face and placing a kiss on her lips. She smirked, sighing when he pulled away to brush a piece of hair from her face.
As she was staring into his eyes, Savannah couldn't help but feel.. happy. But it was a different kind of happy. It was nothing she ever felt before but it wasn't the same type of feeling in her chest whenever she thought of Stiles or looked at him.
Before she could question her annoying flip floppy feelings or Derek could do something else.. she suddenly got a sharp pain in her chest. She gasped, holding her chest while groaning in pain. Derek looked at her confused, holding her close before asking her what was wrong.
She was breathing heavy, looking back at him confused. "Y-you didn't feel that?" Derek shook his head, asking her what was going on. "I-I don't know..But I don't think it's good.." She whispered before telling him they needed to head back to the loft. She had a feeling that Scott and Kira were in trouble.
Derek tried disdaining her feelings but she insisted on it. If Derek proved her wrong and she was just having extreme supernatural heartburn from the spicy food they just ate, she'd apologize and they'd continue their night out.
But until then, they were going to go check in on Scott and Kira. Savannah couldn't help it but she felt this strange sense that Scott was in trouble, that him and Kira were. It was like she could feel their presence, like it was in danger and they were hurting. It wasn't good. She's only gotten this feeling twice before. Once at the hospital with Sean... and even if she wouldn't admit it, with Derek...
