❝ ... I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most ...❞
Savannah sat by the window still in the loft, staring out of it as she watched the rain fall. She thought of everything Stiles explained to her, told her and showed her. But it was just too much. She didn't remember anything and as frustrating as it was for Stiles, it was worse for Savannah. She stared down at her hands, gasping for air when she thought she could have sworn she saw her hands shifting into something else. She shook her head, reopening her eyes to see that her hands were completely normal before looking back outside the window to stare at the view.
Derek and Stiles were standing near the door, talking to themselves as they left Savannah alone.
"she doesn't remember, I tried but she doesn't..-" Stiles panicked, explaining to Derek how his plan failed. Derek quickly cut off Stiles though, reminding him what he told him before.
"She needs to remember herself before she can remember anything else." Derek quickly pointed out. "She just needs time to readjust, she needs to be taking this one step at a time instead of all at once..she needs time and you need to give her just that." Derek warned Stiles.
Stiles sighed, knowing Derek was right even if he didn't want to admit it. He knew that Savannah needed time, she'd probably need a lot of time but like he told her months ago.. he'd wait for her, and when she's ready for him, when she remembers, he'll be waiting. He'd wait a thousand years and a hundred more for her. Stiles still loves Savannah, it's obvious to anyone with two eyes and all he wants like more in the world..is for her to be okay again. To be herself. He swore when he found out Savannah didn't remember anything..
he made a promise to not only her but to himself that he was going to do whatever it took to help her readjust, to find a way back to herself. He didn't want her to stay like this and even if it took a hundred years, Stiles was going to wait and help her because he knew deep down.. that this is not how their story ends. This is just a road block, it's not the end.. It's just another chapter, and once this chapter's over she'll find herself again and they can be together..
The thing is though.. how can you find your way back to someone if you can't remember who they are?

Savannah didn't know what time it was; was it late or early? She honestly didn't know, she had been staring out the window for so long that she lost track of time itself. She stared and watched as the rain drops were racing each other. As she was staring out the window, her eyes wandered to a figure suddenly appearing in the reflection. She gasped, quickly turning around and threatening the person with a knife she had behind her back only to discover that it was Derek.
Derek raised an eyebrow at Savannah, smirking only slightly. "You going to use that or put that away?" Derek questioned as Savannah sighed, putting the knife down.
"Sorry..I still feel..-I still feel a bit jumpy." Savannah sighed, rubbing a hand over her face.
