"Do we really think this Garrett kid is the one behind these murders?" Savannah asked Stiles and Scott.
"Maybe. Liam only told us that Garrett paid for the keg, we don't know if he ordered it." Scott replied.
Savannah stared at Garrett who was just sitting down on a bench getting ready for the game. Her eyes then shifted to Liam, who was standing there with his friend Mason getting ready for the game. Savannah suddenly felt a little growl in her mouth that she managed to suppress. She took a deep breath before refocusing on Garrett, feeling this sudden urge to rip his throat out if he was a threat to Stiles, Liam, Scott, and the others.
Savannah kept glaring at Garrett, rolling her eyes before looking at Stiles and Scott. "Well why aren't we doing anything now? We should take him out before he hurts one of you." Savannah suggested, not liking to picture any of them getting hurt. Especially Liam whom she's growing more and more attached to. She thinks of him like a little bird she wants to take under her wings.
"I agree, if he's behind these murders it would be helping everyone if we just get rid of him now." Stiles added. Savannah offered him a small slightly warm smile, happy that he agreed with her.
Scott gave Stiles a look. "Because we can't just go around killing people or anyone we suspect. That would make us no better than whoever is behind these murders. Besides we're still not sure it's really him. If we're wrong then the real assassin gets away."
Savannah sighed in defeat, simply nodding her head. She still felt like she was right about them taking Garrett out now, if he was the assassin behind these murders, they could avoid someone else dying. I mean, there's that saying about how one life doesn't out weight a thousand? Or at least that's what she remembers from one of the movies Stiles forced her to watch with him while studying pictures and re jogging her memories. But that thought did raise some questions.
If it were Stiles or Scott or Lydia or Derek's lives on the line, what was she willing to do to save them? Despite her memories or knowing what she would have done back then, she knows that right now in that moment.. She would do anything to save them. Because for Savannah, their lives out weight that of whoever else. It sounds harsh but it's the truth. Maybe that's why she can't get the thought of getting Garrett now if it meant keeping them all safe?
But she knew Scott was right, they couldn't just go around killing people. She was better than that, or at least that's what she's been told. She found a better way. Still... there was this urking feeling Savannah couldn't shake, it was the feeling she got when Scott and her were rushing to save Liam from Sean and the exact opposite of what she felt with Liam. That night on the roof with Sean, in the stairwell.. she got this sudden feeling of darkness and death. She didn't feel that with Liam but she felt it again on the field.
She felt like someone was going to die and she sure as hell didn't want it to be any of her friends.
Scott had walked off to go talk with Kira and get ready for the game which left Stiles standing there with Savannah. He noticed the distracted and distant look on her face, lightly putting his hand on her shoulder as to not spook her. She jumped, snapping from her thoughts as she looked up at him with a confused face.
