"We need to find the entrance." Scott pointed out the obvious as the pack descended down into the basement to find their escape route.
Savannah felt herself becoming more and more tired, her face turning pale and feeling more and more anxious. Her hands felt clammy, sweaty as she felt like her entire body was on fire. She was breathing in and out, attempting to remain calm. While they were all searching the basement, she jumped a little when Scott placed a hand on her shoulder. She jumped back, looking at him with wide eyes before relaxing when she realized it was only him.
Scott had his hands up in defense, showing he didn't mean to scare her. "Woah, sorry..I come in peace.." Scott said, a little laugh as Savannah slowly nodded her head. Scott noticed Savannah messing with her hands and seeing them shaking, reaching over to hold them steady to help her that's when Scott noticed her body temperature.
Scott quickly retracked his hand, looking at her a bit shocked while he held his hand. "Ouch, what the..-are you okay? You're burning up..like a lot." Scott asked his best friend who looked really sick.
Savannah just nodded her head, closing her eyes for a second before reopening them. "Ye-yeah..guess it's hitting us all." Savannah breathed out before walking away from Scott to continue looking for the entrance to the vault.
While they were all looking, Savannah took a couple of steps before feeling suddenly very weak. She almost fell over but managed to grab onto a nearby shelf. She squeezed her eyes shut, feeling a headache arising. She felt like someone was drilling into her skull, crying a little as she held her head.
Stiles ran over to her, holding her up. "Hey, hey..wh-what's wrong?"
Savannah let out one last cry, slowly opening her eyes as she looked up at him. "I-it hurts..gaaaaaahhh." Savannah cried, while Stiles held her and told her everything would be okay. It only took a few minutes for Stiles to help Savannah, talking her through it as she slowly stood back up and thanked him.
Malia noticed the closeness of Stiles and Savannah, feeling a little anger inside of her as she clenched her fist. She knew Stiles cared for her but she also knew he was still in love with Savannah. He grieved, he tried moving on and maybe he even did a little with her but she knew there was always going to be a part of him that wouldn't let her go. She felt and worried that Stiles was only with her as consultation for not having Savannah.
I mean, if Savannah hadn't died all those months ago.. she knew that Stiles would be with Savannah, not her. I guess she was just scared that he settled.. She was scared, she hadn't thought of much ever since they found Savannah and she came back. That's why she's been so hostile towards Savannah, she knew that with her around that Stiles wouldn't ever be her's. Not really. Not how she wants. But she knew she needed to stop thinking like that, she was better than that but the thoughts still crossed her mind.
Malia shook those thoughts aside as she continued looking for the entrance, not wanting to think about it all right now, especially when their on the verge of death.
After Savannah confirmed she was okay, that it was probably just a side effect from the virus or whatever.. they both went back to searching for the entrance. But before Stiles could take a step, he noticed something behind the metal storage shelf Savannah had rested against. He quickly turned his head, pushing various things on the shelf aside before seeing the entrance to the Hale Vault.
