I close my eyes to clear my mind

But your presence is still felt

I tried to say goodbye

But the words wouldn't come out

I may never tell you whats on my mind

Because you already know

I can't tell you what I feel

Because I would break my heart to tell you 

Leaving was hard for me

But I had to do what was best

It's because of you I didn't want to leave

But at the same time it's because of you I had the strength to go 

I guess the reason we never said goodbye

Is that people like you and me -

We know we should meet again

We will never have to say these words

I do miss you much

But will never hear it from me.
