He cries
Because he knows that she's gone
And that she will never come back
They say an evil spirit took her away
But he knows
As he walks to her stone
Bringing white roses
With words written
He ponders them
She really was a loving person
She really was a great wife
She really was an amazing mother
T
he key word
Was
Written just like every other word in stone
But boldened and stuck in his mind
When he walks to her stone
He gives it space
He wouldn't want to step on her
Although she is just dirt
She will always be there
He sits there and cries
Wishing and begging that she would come back
Bring the color back into his life
Because all is dark now
She would bring the rainbow with her when she walked into the room
Her eyes resembled home
Her hair reflecting hope
Her heart
Her heart was forged of spring by the gods
Full of kindness
He sits there and cries
Tears streaming down his face
Watering the grass he sits on
His tears soak down to her bones
Just laying there six feet under
He looks to the sky
And he remembers something she used to say
Every night before he shut his eyes
And woke in the morn
She said
That the stars are deceased souls of the good
Bringing light in the darkness
And when he looked up
Eyes filled with tears
It seemed as though
There was a star brighter than the others
She was bringing light into his darkness
