Let me tell you a tale of
Love
When this word
Love
finds its way Into my thoughts
It is not a what I think of
The thought of the word
Love
Always takes me back
Back to the someones in my life
The ones who are flowers blooming in the garden of my thoughts
The ones who bandaged the wounds that were stabbed into my back
The ones who helped the toddler inside of me finds its feet
And taught it how to walk
The ones who helped my lost heart find hope
They are the ones who give me hope
The give me
Love
And I
Love
Them
The give me the gift of laughter on a daily basis
They taught me that tears are just empty wishes
They took my soul to places of color
They gave me All the bright colors of the rainbow
And I chose to share all of what they have me
Because I
Love
Them
I think of all those things
When I hear the word
Love
These someones in my life
They are
Love
They are my one and only
They are forever in my heart
And forever in my heart
They will stay
