Baby they told me that you were dangerous

They told me to stay away
That I'd get burned by your flame
Did I listen?
Of course not
Your flame was just too beautiful
It drew me in
I got caught in the world where fire was your only you to play with
I welcomed myself in
I opened the door
I loved the heat
I thought that the feeling was warmth
It felt so good
The flames locked my skin
Your warmth became my heaven
But then the temperature increased
And I couldn't handle it
Now the heat
The heat the used to be my heaven
Is now my Hell
It scorched my skin
Burned my nerves
Burned me to the bone
I plelayed with fire
Who know I would get burned?
Everyone but me
I played with fire and all that is left is a pile of ashes
