"AHHH!" Alicia and the crowd shouts in fear for me while I just stand there unable to move my feet due to the shock.
However the next thing shocked me even more...
Caleb who was standing behind me pulls me behind him and embraces me with his body when the picture hits. Wow I can really smell his cologne here, but that's not what is important right now. He covered me with his body so I wouldn't get hurt. It was like one of those slow motion scenes in movies when the guy rescues the girl.
Oh my!
I was fine, Caleb just saved me. Damn it, now I really owe him!
"Oh my god." Alicia exclaims and covers her mouth.
"Are you okay?" I snap out of my confused state to check on Caleb who was still holding me tightly. He wasn't letting me go. He still was holding onto me super tight.
I glance into his eyes to see a very concerned Caleb.
"Are you okay?" Caleb redirects the question back to me.
I ignore his question and start glancing his body to inspect it more if his back was okay because it was his back that got the impact when he was saving me. I could see the glass shattered on the floor while the specks were still on his back. He wasn't wearing a jacket and his shirt was really thin- his white shirt had some spots of red meaning the glass cut through his skin and blood was dripping down.
I gasp and immediately feel at fault.
All this because of my crazy ex!
"I'm fine. But you're not. I'm so sorry." I apologize at Caleb then quickly remembered the ass who caused this problem. Matt was nowhere to be found. Alicia who now was trying to take the glass pieces out of Caleb's back shook her head as to reading my mind.
"Ouch!" Caleb complains.
"Get over it!" Alicia smacks his head.
"I'll take that as a thank you for saving your best friend," Caleb waves off her hands that were still trying to pick at the glass pieces in his back.
"Party's OVER!" Alicia announces and a lot of people groaned but understood and left immediately.
It was just starting too and there's so much drama already.
"Come," I instruct Caleb and drag him to the bathroom with me.
He and I start heading towards the first floor bathroom.
"Look. I mean I understand that saving you was great but if we're going to do it in the bathroom then I don't want to misguide you. It's not right." Caleb says and I smack him in the head - doesn't have anything important in there anyway. I seriously wonder how he can still joke in his condition. Sure flirting and everything is funny, but he's seriously hurt from what Matt did to him.
Shut up and let me help you!
"Do you want your wounds to be infectious?" I raise a brow and he shook his head and quietly follows me.
In the bathroom, I turned on the water and took a towel to clean his wounds along with some bandages. Much to his hopes.
"I'll take my shirt off," Caleb says and I sigh before looking away. He chuckles at this.
I realized him taking his shirt off was the best way we could've treated his wounds.
"Hey. Are you going to clean my wounds or not?" Caleb challenges and I exhale before turning around to be met with a half naked boy with delicious abs.
