Author's Note:
Howdy, it's been a full year since I last updated and 5 years since I've started this book. Oh Lord, but with quarantine and school finally over, I've decided to finally give this book the attention it deserves.

If you are an old reader, I suggest you go back to read the changes. I've changed quite a lot of things because rereading it as a college student made me realize how dumb this book was, the pace of it all, and to add more depth to the characters.

1) Snow and Ethan never got together, therefore there was no cheating scene nor thanksgiving dinner between their families, nor did Vanessa play a role in the end of that relationship
2) that being said thanksgiving dinner was actually between Caleb's family and her's - definitely spicy
3) Vanessa has more depth to her character now and will play a more important role to come
4) I also started Caleb and Snow's relationship before this chapter rather than during this chapter as I originally intended so there's that.
5) you actually saw more of Caleb's family drama
6) Gabriel!

If you are a new reader, everything is good.

I also updated the book cover so it's not so cringey anymore.

C O L O R A D O

It was 8 in the morning and we just landed at the airport with all of the 'family' members. There was a total of 27 people and it seemed like everyone had plans and minds of their own.

The wind in Colorado was breezy but pleasant compared to Chicago. I was exhausted due to lack of sleep but the excitement inside overcame all of that.

Throughout the flight, I caught a glimpse at Alicia and Jax who sat across from us. At times, she was sleeping and he was on the phone. At other times, she would pull out her phone and worked on planning our Spring social activities while Jax was sleeping.

The two of them always mocked us holding hands and doing couple stuff. They didn't like the fact that their own partners weren't here.

Granted, Caleb did invite Alicia on the way to the airport to add Bryce on the trip since they were or still are roommates, but he wouldn't pick up the phone. And Jax has too many girls to pick just one to join us, he said inviting a girl on this trip would lead her on and that's not what he is planning on doing.

When we landed at the private airport, we immediately got escorted to a car waiting us from the Brookens airplane. It was really rushed and I once again forgot just how rich his whole family was.

Caleb, Gabriel, and Jax seemed completely unfazed by it while Alicia and I looked like lost children in a candy store.

I immediately took notice of the line of cars awaiting us at the airport. There were possibly 6 cars. All of the cars were identical black Chevy SUVs with tinted windows. But when we got into the cars, it was a different feeling.

The windows were super thick and I noticed a bunch of boxes in the trunk and top of the car strapped on all in black.

There was barely any space to fit the suitcases. Granted, Alicia did bring 5 but still.

Did they bring that many ski materials?

Getting into the car with the five of them, I started to calm myself down due to being surrounded by people I didn't feel inferior to. While I did look comfortable, everyone else in the car was super tense.
