"Snow!" The same man hollers after me.

I was panicking but I had to keep myself sane and showed that I was confident that way, the man would doubt that I was indeed Snow.

Only looking down I kept walking until I bumped into someone.

"Sorry," I say and just keep walking. The person I bumped into pulls me back and makes me look at his face.

"What a pretty face." He compliments.

What a pretty face indeed! His!

This is a good chance for that man to never find me.

"I want you to pretend I'm a friend and hug me," I tell tall dark and handsome stranger in front of me who resembled a splitting image of Matthew Daddario.

"I just met you - that's some strange request," he comments but obeys my request and pulls me into a tight hug. I could feel his body and it was muscular. Me likely.

He is very handsome and for a quick second, I forgot the whole reason why I'm even here.

"Why am I hugging you?" The hot stranger asks me. I was using his neck to hide my face and I just sniffle my face into it.

"Because I'm trying to hide from someone," I answer truthfully and he laughs at my response.

"I'm dead serious," I say and his mood shifts.

"Is the man you're hiding from still here?" He asks me, pointing to the person I was hiding from.

"I think so. How did you know it's a man?" I finally look up to take a closer look at this handsome fellow who I wished to wake up next to everyday.

"Most girls who run away from someone, usually run away from a man," He explains and I nod. He's smart.

"My name is Snow." I introduce myself while in his embrace.

Looking back at how I got into this situation, I wondered how that man managed to get into an elite party.

"My name is Jaxson , but all my friends call my Jax," Jax introduces himself back and I nod my head.

"So why are you here?" Jax asks me while smiling at our current situation.

"Truth be told, I have absolutely no idea. I was supposed to be here as a date for one of my 'friends' but then he stopped caring so I drifted away. Then I saw that man who I've been actively avoiding and now I'm in your arms." I ramble on about my night.

That was the events that unfolded.

"Well. Just when I thought I had the worst night. You obviously did." He smiles politely, "You see my great mother sent me here to canoodle as she calls it with a bunch of lovely girls tonight because she thought it was time I got myself a partner. And so far all of them have been either only interested in themselves since that's all they can talk about or they were just bitches - until you literally bumped into me. That was how my night went."

I blush from this comment and finally get out of his arms.

"So I'm guessing this just isn't our night," I say and he nods laughing at my comment.

"But it can be," He adds and I raise my eyebrow.

"Come on. Let's get out of here," He drags me out of the crowd and to the bar where we can talk.

"Strange. I met you just for less than an hour and here I am having drinks, hugs and already introduced my full name. I usually do that on the first date which this is not." I joke.
