I realized this book about to be long...
Sorry! We're only half-way through the story right now and I'm debating whether I should cut out details to make it shorter...
or make it super long and maybe possibly turn it into a second book?
Please let me know what you would prefer, but until then enjoy chapter 28.

"Percy, Gabe, I need you two."
My holler at them made them very cautious of what I was signalling them over for. Once they reached me, I grabbed the two of them and made my way to Gabe's room away from ears and eyes.
It was an hour before dinner and I had just finished my ski down the slopes here at Colorado.
We cowered into Gabe's room and locked the doors with Percy and Gabe immediately inspecting the room for bugs and such.
Once I got the thumbs up from them telling me it was okay to talk, I start pacing back and forth in the room with a shaking voice. My hands were shaking and my sentences incomplete.
"Snow. SNOW! Slow down, we can't hear a single thing you are saying," Gabriel yells at me for me to snap out of my motions.
I tilt my head side and side contemplating how I should sentence what I am going to say so they understand.
"O-Okay. So I like was bored, right?" I say and they nod their heads, "and I thought to get out of my weird and sad funk that I've been in lately because of you know...my not-so-dead mother."
I whisper the dead mother part as if it was secret, which it technically is.
"to like go skiing because we're in Colorado and why not? We're in Colorado and we should go skiing because that's what normal people in Colorado do! We go skiing."
My ramble was so obvious. I don't normally ramble, but I do right now because that's the way my brain functions after I saw what I saw.
My hands continue shaking as was my voice.
"So I went skiing and I must've gone down that slope like ten times if not more. I-"
Getting cut off for my ramble, Gabe interjects, "-Snow! Get to the point."
I stop my feet right in front of them and finally say what I've been working up to for the past minute.
I take a deep breath, a shaky one.
"I found a dead body."
What I said seemed to stun them with their confused faces and jaw dropping expressions. It was like they were on pause for a few seconds and when it registered with them, the pause hit resume and the noise picked back up louder than before.
"What?"
"Are you sure?"
"Who was it?"
"Are you absolutely sure?"
"Snow?"
"SNOW!"
My eyes bounce from person to person trying to catch up with their questions and I get dizzy from turning my head so much.
