Class dismissed! Never felt any happier in my life than today when Tuesday passed by. It just was another day towards the end of my life but another day also to the end of my misery called school.
"Miss Swanson!" Mr. Darney hollered at the front of the class right as the bell rang.
Damn it.
"Mr. Darney..." I awkwardly shifted.
"I see that you haven't turned in any of my assignments for this week. Is there a reason to your grades dropping?" Mr. Darney raises his brow and I shook my head.
Professors usually don't care but I was his star student! Of course, he paid attention to me!
Can't exactly say I have a reason. Literally can't tell you my reason because you won't understand nor will you believe me if I said I was busy working off my father's gambling debt.
"There's no reason?" I say in a questioning tone more than a stating one.
"I heard your father is in the hospital." Darney addresses and I nod.
How the fuck did he know? It ain't his business? Is he stalking me? CREEPER!
"Yeah," I confirm and he nods.
"This isn't high school anymore and so I can't baby you the whole way. Sad to say, rules are that you must turn in your assignments on time regardless of your situation or your location..however just this once I'll let it slide. Have all your assignments turned in before Thursday, Miss Swanson!" He tells me and I smile then leave.
He was awfully nice!
"Snow!" Sara runs up after me and swings her arm around my shoulder.
"Sara!" I laugh and she joins me after her classes ended.
"Are you on your way back to the house?" Sara asks me and I shook my head.
"No. I'm actually on my way to Jamba Juice." I tell her.
Jamba is the only drink that can get me out of this funk. Well that and creme brûlée.
"Ooo. Can I tag along? I've been craving me a Jamba!" Sara exclaims and I laugh.

"I can't believe he's here," I whisper to Sara who is sipping on her Berry Upbeet smoothie. We were sitting on one of the tables staring.
"I can't believe they are here." Sara corrects me and I sigh.
"I thought you broke up with him." I tell her and she gives me that 'don't remind me'.
"I thought you tried to break this off with him," Sara says.
"I thought I did." I look at her and take a sip from my smoothie.
Here we were, two roommates with boy issues! We're almost like real college students.
"Yikes," Sara sings and I keep staring at these two idiots staring back at us - guess they saw us staring at them..whoops!
"Do you think they saw us?" I nudge Sara who looks at me then back at them who happened to wave at us.
"Yep." Sara says.
"What do we do?" I ask her.
"We can pretend we never saw them?" Sara suggests and we both turn in the chairs to look outside of the window.
"I think we made that turn very obvious." I whisper to Sara who takes another sip.
"Yes. Yes you did." One of the guys smirks. I can't see his face but because I know him very well, I can't tell he's smirking.
