"Hey Angels," Caleb coos and I mentally barf.
"Why are you here? Did you make a detour before the dumpster?" Sara says.
"Well. Sweetheart, if you keep flirting like that, I would fall very soon." Caleb winks and I feel pity...for who I don't know.
Really? Really?
Like I said, he will flirt with anything that walks."Don't. I already did, it was depressing." Jax intervenes and adds his two cents.
He's an asshole just like his best friend.
"No one asked for your opinion!" I defend Sara who looked a bit hurt.
"If you excuse me, I'm going to go crawl into a hole and just never crawl back out." Sara dismisses and leaves the group - leaving me with these two hooligans. DAMN It!
"So...." Jaxson whistles and I cross my arms and shuffle awkwardly.
"Did I just hear Alicia calling me?" I point out, obviously lying and start turning on the balls of my feet to walk around but too late, Caleb grabbed my arm and spins me around before I got the chance to leave.
"Come on. You just got here. It hasn't even been 3 minutes and you want to leave already. Call me exaggerating but I think my heart just broke a bit." Caleb pretends to have a heart attack - which wasn't funny.
"You have to have a heart from the very beginning in order for it to break." I blurt and smirk, at this remark, Jaxson quite amused started clapping and laughing.
Caleb glared at him and Jax just says, "it was funny, lighten up!"And at this. I moved again. I don't want to deal with these two dimwits for the rest of the night. Tonight was supposed to be a Caleb/Jax - free night, and I was supposed to enjoy it but now I'm just dreading every decision I've made up until this part that lead me to them. I need a drink...maybe five.
The club was its usual club: loud music with intoxicated people 'dancing' ..everywhere, bouncers - which reminds me of Teddy, a full bar that my small stature couldn't reach the time I wanted it to be, dark lights and neon signs everywhere with none of my friends to be found.
"What do you recommend?" I ask the bartender who seemed shocked at my question.
"Umm...well a Margarita is a popular drink for college students," He states and I shake my head at his suggestion.
"Anything stronger?" I raise my brow.
"Vampire's Kiss?" He suggests and I shrug like 'sure'. And he leaves to make my drink.
While my Vampire's Kiss is being made, I took a glimpse of my surroundings and saw a drunk girl leaning on a dude who was practically groping her then next to them, a handsome stranger who was probably either gay or taken and next to him, a friend of the handsome stranger who was quite good looking as well (not as much as his friend but not too shabby) with light brown eyes and brown hair and an athletic built. He saw me and gave me a wink to which I believed I blushed a quickly averted my attention to somewhere else. Way to play it smooth, Snow!
"Here's your Vampire's Kiss." The bartender comes with my drink and places it on the counter right in front of my face.
Taking a sip from the drink, I found it to be bitter and sweet like what? But there was barely any great amount of alcohol in it. I wanted to get drunk, not drink fancy cocktails that I could easy get at weddings,
"You said that this drink is strong." I called out the bartender who suggested it.
"I never said that. You asked me for a drink that was stronger. The Vampire's Kiss is stronger than a margarita." The bartender defends and I just slowly chuckle like I can't believe I just got fooled.
