The last two days at the cabin were exactly how Percy said they would play out. Gabriel and Percy took turns watching over me and assuring I didn't mentally break...more than I already have.

Everything I wanted to be answered was answered...at least anything that didn't break protocol.

Like yesterday, I asked Gabriel if the 9/11 Bush conspiracy was real and he responded back with a 'no comment'. I mean I knew he couldn't really answer it, but I was holding out on the hope he would.

Percy did say 'any question'.

Talking to Percy and Gabe that night we got back made me realize just how intelligent these two were. I see why the CIA recruited the two of them.

"So all those research trips you have?"

Gabriel nods and hands me a bagel, "operation."

Percy grabs the strawberry jam from my hands and spreads it all over his bagel, "smartest asset to the CIA, this kid!"

I laugh and take a bite into my plain cream cheese bagel.

We were currently sitting in Gabriel's one of guest rooms. Yes, one of his guest rooms. His suite at the resort came with a master bedroom and 2 guest rooms separated by a master's bathroom. Being the CEO's son definitely has its perks. Gabe and Percy make sure to sweep the place for bugs three times a day before we start our conversations to stay safe.

It was currently 7 a.m., way ahead of any of Casey Brookens' schedules he has lined up for us this week. We made an effort to wake up this early to meet each other since no one in their right mind would be up this time and since Gabriel lives in the west wing of the main cabin, the only other people who live on this side is Caleb who I know for a fact doesn't wake up until 2 p.m. and can sleep through a storm.

Gabriel also made sure the three of us weren't ever caught together outside of early morning and late night meetings.

Ever since that night, I've tried to find any evidence to contradict what they said but to no avail. I tried talking to Caleb, but ever since our last conversation at dinner, it's been a little hard. I think he knows I'm onto him but he doesn't know that I know everything.

Alicia has been busy getting to know those four other young recruits that she is barely ever back in our room, so the only person that has been hanging out with me the past two days was Percy.

I thought after the stunt Percy and he pulled, I would've dodged them every chance I had, but instead I found it nice to talk to people who understood me and knew what I was going through. I couldn't exactly tell Alicia what happened and I definitely could not tell Caleb about it, so I had no choice but to befriend the last two people I thought I would've befriended at the beginning of this trip.

Percy has been watching me like a hawk. I would even say he was in my room more than Alicia. Seeing Percy and Gabriel around me 24/7 did not help patch up my relationship with Caleb, if anything, he was using this reason to block me.

With a little strawberry jam on his mouth, Percy smacks his lips while talking, "You know you should get back together with Caleb?"

His comment made both Gabriel and I glare at him with a 'what did you just say' expression written all over our faces.

He throws his left hand and right hand holding the bagel up in defense, "I'm just saying, if the guy wasn't the Mafia's Son, he'd be a catch."

Gabriel puts down his bagel and retorts, "What's so wrong with being the Mafia's Son?"

I put down my bagel and support him, "Yeah, what's so wrong with that?"

Percy sighs, "Everything in that sentence and title. I'm just saying having you date Caleb would definitely help us in our investigation. Whatever Gabriel and I can't dig up, you can!"
