"How did you get in here?" the cowboy waved his dagger at me cautiously.

"The front door?" I smirked, "What were you expecting? In-tru-der window?" I asked. I pointed at the big elevator doors i had just come through to prove my point. The cowboy smiled cheekily, lowering his weapon just as two more people emerged from the bookshelves. "Who are you? Are you a poltergeist?" the boy said, looking more curious that threatening as the cowboy had when he'd seen me. "Believe me," I said, "If i were a poltergeist i would be making a much bigger entrance than this, those guys just love to be dramatic," i said.

The red-headed girl behind the boy came foward now, fire glowing from behind her eyes. "If you want something from the library you're going to have to go through us first," she said. At her words the two boys had stood to attention. From the shadows I could hear the sound of a gun being loaded. I held my hands up and faced the sound. I wasnt scared, i knew guns didnt have any affect on me, i just wanted to get their trust first.

"The Guardian, i presume?" I said.

"Who are you? How did you get in here? What are you here for? Who are you with?" the voice commanded. A woman walked foward from the shadows, gun at the ready. "I'm someone who needs your help, i walked in the front door, i am here because i know about the magic in the lay-lines and i am here alone. I hope that is enough for you, Colonel Eve Baird," i said, lowering my hands as i said the Guardians name. Eve looked at me suspiciously, not lowering her gun.

"Eve, how, how did she know your name? Have you met her before?" the red-headed girl squeaked. I looked at her and smiled before turning back to the Guardian. "We've never met," Eve started, "She must be with the Serpent Brotherhood, that's the only explanation for how she got in." she growled in disgust.

"What did you say?" I said, confused all of a sudden.

"Eve, she said she wanted our help," the red-headed girl pleaded.

"Don't you remember the House of Refuge Cassandra? Or what about when you a Lamia first met, Stone?" Eve said, silencing Cassandra with a desperate stare.

"Wait? Lamia? Is she still working for the Serpent Brotherhood? I thought i convinced her to leave," I blurted. The three Librarians and the Guardian all looked at me with hatred. I thought they were going to try to kill me, but thankfully from somewhere a gruff voice cut into the conversation.

"Colonel Baird, please bring the intruder to the card catalog," i heard the voice say.

"Come on, you heard the man," Eve said, motioning for Stone and the other boy to grab my arms and direct me to the card catalog. We turned and walked deeper and deeper into the Library, coming to an enormous pair of doors which Eve opened and dragged me through. "Jenkins!" Eve shouted, clearly expecting someone.

"Colonel Baird," Jenkins appeared, nodding to her before shifted his gaze to me. His features had been changed through the centuries, but i could still see him under the wrinkles and now white hair. "Sir Galahad," I bowed, glad to see a familiar face, but remembering my manners and continuing formal conversation first.

"Mordred?" he questioned, his voice quiet. As i straightened up i could see the others looking at Galahad with shocked expressions, just as his old face was stuck in a stunned emotion. He suddenly dropped into a bow, finally remembering his long forgotten manners. "Librarians, Colonel Baird, this is Princess Mordred of Camelot," he announced, receiving gasps from the others as he stood up.
