"Baird, come on, we've gotta save Jenkins," Ezekiel started, waving at the Colonel.
"What? What's happened to Jenkins?" Eve asked, looking at each of us in turn.
"Jenkins is going to Morgana Le Fay to make himself young, because he's jealous that Ezekiel and Mordred went on a date in Paris. The only problem is we think he'll give up his own life to get his youth back, which means losing Jenkins to an evil sorceress, possibly helping her to become more powerful, and because she's in Scotland where the Arthurian's were first born she's a lot more powerful than when we first met." Cassandra babbled away, even though I could see Eve's eyebrows go up and down about twenty times during her outburst of information. It took the Guardian a few minutes to process the information, but finally she spoke. "Alright, let's go save Jenkins."
"Alright," Ezekiel said, his cheeky smile cropping up onto his face. It was unexpected, but cute, making me smile too. Eve nodded in our direction, before her eyebrows went down again. "Where's Stone?" she asked.
The pit of my stomach melted away as Ezekiel and I looked at each other worriedly. It was a few seconds before Cassandra caught on, letting out a little gasp. "What now?" Eve asked us.
Cassandra held her hands together, fidgeting nervously as she replied, "We kinda, might have left him in Paris," she said, bracing herself for a lecture. I looked at Ezekiel for some comfort, watching him struggle not to laugh. "You what?" Eve said, her eyes closing with annoyance to stop herself from rolling her eyes at us.
"We got carried away, sorry Eve," Cassandra started, before i cut in.
"It was my fault, I changed the coordinates on the back door before i realised Stone was still there. I wasn't planning on taking the Librarians with me, I was thinking selfishly." I said. Eve just shrugged and walked over to the big globe that powered the back door.
"So where are we now? If Jenkins needs help we'll go help." She said, pulling a small pistol out from her coat.
"We're in Scotland," I said.
"Yeah, why aren't we getting Stone? Why go save Jenkins first?" Ezekiel asked. Eve looked at the three of us before saying, "Well, we can leave Stone to sulk in Paris, i mean, he can't do that much trouble, and we can save Jenkins. He'll then have to admit that you guys are the best Librarians he's ever seen."
Ezekiel's cheeky grin returned, and while Cassandra was concerned about Stone, she quickly gathered herself, looking ready for anything. I smiled at the Librarians and their Guardian, they were so brave, and so loyal. They had no idea what was coming, but i would protect them from that. As long as we got Galahad back we would succeed. I grabbed a dagger from the umbrella stand and stood slightly in front of the Librarians, "Let's go then," I said, opening the back door and jumping through.
