Heart's Done Time

I began to dismiss any thoughts I had on the emotion, and typed my employee number into the register screen, to begin the next customers transaction, and went through the same emotionless routine.

"How are you today? Did you find everything okay? Did any employee help you out tod-" I paused, feeling that magnetizing force again, and looked up into the eyes of the source. 

A speechless Steven Tyler stood inches away from me. 

As I stared into his beautiful brown eyes, I reached out onto the counter between us, and grabbed the pair of black skinny jeans, and went through the transaction, never taking my eyes off of his. 

"F-fourty five dollars, a-and thirty six cents is your total." I stammered. 

He handed me his credit card, and as I grabbed the card from him, our fingers brushed, and I felt a current of electricity run through my body, and gasped at the touch. 

I blushed and quickly looked down, so that he wouldn't see. As I finished his transaction, Mary asked if she could take a photo with him, and I clocked out and walked out of the store.

I turned around as I felt a hand grasp mine, and turned right into Steven. 

"Excuse me miss, wait, please!" he pleaded "What's your name?"

"Mia Lynn" I almost whispered

"Well Mia Lynn, I would love to get a drink with you some time. Can I have your number?" He smiled and I felt a blush spread across my cheeks. 

Looking down again, I began to say "umm, well I've been busy lately.." as a voice inside my head screamed 'YOU IDIOT, YOUR IDOL IS ASKING YOU OUT, AND YOU'RE ABOUT TO SAY NO?!' I dismissed the voice, and started again "but, I have a little time right now, if you would like to get some coffee. I know this great little cafe at the other side of town if you wan-"

He put a finger to my lips and gave me a big beautiful smile "Coffee would be great!"
