I Was Drawn To You

I was too tired to go to work, but I knew I needed to make rent for the month, so I continued on my journey through the mall, to PacSun. 

As I walked through the mall, it was more crowed than usual, which is weird because it was a tuesday, in mid-October, and NO ONE is usually at this mall anyway. 
When I walked into PacSun and clocked in, I felt a pair of arms collapse around me, and just then, a high pitch screaming sound came from behind me. 

"MIA! MIA! MIA! MIA! MIA! OH MY GOD! MAMA MIA! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WERE WORKING TODAY!" it was my boss, Mary. 

      Mary and I have become very close since I began working there, it's actually pretty scary how alike we are. Although Mary is about 10 or 11 years older than I am, we look like we could be twins. and coinsidentally, we usually end up wearing extremely similar outfits to work. I'm about 5'5" and Mary is 5'6". Today, my long blonde hair was curled, and pulled back into a ponytail, and her strawberry blonde hair was pulled into a high pony. We were both wearing the new plum colored high-waisted skinny jeans, a black tank top, and one of the new green military style jackets, and combat boots. Everyone askes us if we're sisters, and how cute they think it is that we work together, and we never really deny it, because hey, she's my sister from another mister. 

"Well you are the boss.." I said sarcastically. Almost a little too sarcastically, because instantly, Mary looked a little hurt. "Ahh, shit, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I'm just tired and I didn't get much sleep last night."

"Oh, it's okay, I totally know how you feel. If you want you can take your break a little early today? Or I can cut your shift short?" She said, a little concerned. 

"Yeah, that'd be great, actually, I-" I started
"WAIT! Under one condition.." she interrupted "I so desperately need some coffee, would you wanna run to starbucks for me, if I let you go early?"
"Of course, but why Starbucks, it's overpriced bullshit." I giggled.
"Hey, hey hey. Don't mess with my starbies." she retorted. 

About 2 hours later, I was set to leave, I only had a few more customers to ring up, so I told Mary that I would stay and finish up, then I would be heading out. 

Suddenly, I felt some unexplainable magnetic force. Something gripped me, from the very depths of my soul, and brought a light airy sensation to me that I've never felt before. I panicked at the introduction of the foreign emotion, and started breathing really heavily.
