When we got back to the apartment, I called Lauren and told her that I was going and that she should definitely go to. Just then, my mother called. I haven't spoken to her in a couple months, so it was only fair to answer her call.

"Hey, Mom! I miss you, how has everything been?" I answered the phone

"Great, honey! I miss you too! Are you coming home for Thanksgiving? It's in 5 days if you haven't forgotten!" She laughed

"No, Mom, I haven't forgotten, and yes, I'll be home. And, can I bring someone? Theres someone I want the family to meet. Also, I want to bring Pike home. I'll miss him more than anything, but I won't be able to take care of him for a few months." I said

"Honey, friends are always welcome. Is it a boy?" She teased me. "And why, baby, what's wrong? Is he getting too old? I know it'll be hard for you to watch him go bu-"

"No mom, it's not that, I'll explain everything when we get up there. I have my last class tomorrow, so I guess I'll leave next Tuesday, and be up there on Tuesday night."

"Okay, Mia, I love you, and I'll see you soon."

Just then, Steven walked into the room.

"Okay, I can't wait to see you, I love you too. Bye" I said, and hung up. 

"Who was that?" Steven eyed me suspiciously.

"That was my mom... and guess what?"

"What?" He asked me

"You're gonna meet my family, only if you want too of course. Thanksgiving is next thursday, and my mom wants me to go home, to New Jersey, for a few days. I asked if I can bring someone, because I want to introduce you to them. Also, I want to bring Pike back home. I mean, I'll need someone to watch him when we're on tour." I said

"New Jersey? Of course, I'd love to meet your family, baby. I can't wait." He smiled and kissed me.

I got up early the next morning and got ready for class. I made myself a mug of tea, and grabbed an apple for the road. I went back into the bedroom, only to find Steven still out like a light. I gave him a kiss and left him a note which said: 'Went to class. Be back as soon as I can. All my love, Mia <3' and I left.

I handed my Paper into Dr. Montgomery after the rest of the class had left, because I felt like my paper needed a bit of an introduction. 

"Hey, Dr. Montgomery?" I asked

"Ahh, Mia, is there something I can help you with?" he asked, in a very kind tone.

"Ohh, no Sir," I giggled a little, "I just wanted to hand in my final paper. I felt like it needed a bit of an unwritten introduction..."

"Oh does it? Well that worries me, Mia." He chuckled

"Well... I met Steven Tyler, and I decided that it would be the perfect opportunity to get an interview for my paper, so I wanted to tell you know, before you thought I was writing down some garbage." I chuckled.

"My oh my, Mia! That's teriffic! I thought I heard rumours that you and Mr. Tyler were dating. I'm a huge fan! Please, do me a favor and compliment his work for me?"

Just then the door opened,

"There's no need, you can do it yourself, Sir." Steven walked over to where the professor and I were sitting, and stuck out his hand so the professor could shake it. "Hi, I'm Steven Tyler."

Dr. Montgomery scrambled to his feet, and quickly shook Steven's hand. 

"Ahh, Mr. Tyler I'm a big, big fan. I love the new album. My wife and I especially love the song 'I Dont Wanna Miss A Thing.' She wants it to be the song we dance to when we renew our vows next month." He blushed, realizing that he was rambling.
