"Hey Mia, what cookin' good lookin'?" Said my best friend Patrick, as I sat down next to him, waiting for class to start.

"Ugh, another sleepless night. Thank god tea has caffiene in it, or I wouldn't be awake right now. That's a guarantee." I sighed.

Patrick has been my best friend since high school, and by some stroke of luck, we ended up applying to, and enrolling to the same college, unknowing until the weeks before we were set to leave for our new lives. Both being interested in Psychology, we instantly signed up for the same Psych, and Neuroscience courses.

2 hours and 45 minutes later, class was about to end when Dr. Montgomery stopped and gave the class a serious look.
"Class." he sighed ".... THERES NO FINAL EXAM!"
He waited about 5 minutes after the class errupted into applause and cat calls.
"However.." He started

"Oh here we go.." I whispered to Patrick, rolling my eyes

"There will be a final paper, due in a month. The object of the paper is to come up with a mental disorder that's never been heard of. Being unique. Be extreme. Be as creative as possible, afterall, theres much of the human psyche that's completely undiscovered. Be outstanding. Now go, and do great things. Next class is in a month from today, on November 20th." He finished.

I got up, and packed up my school bag, said goodbye to Patrick, and then went back to the apartment and began working on my assignment, as I knew EXACTLY what I wanted it to be on.

When I got home, I made myself a cup of tea, sat down on the couch, and opened up my laptop. I began typing viciously, and didn't stop until Lauren came home, and said something.

"Jesus Christ Mia, are you trying to beat your laptop to death? If you want to crush an apple so badly, we can go to the park and play apple baseball!" Lauren laughed.
Ever since I moved to South Carolina, and met Lauren, we instantly clicked and became best friends, all because of a childhood game we used to play as kids. Apple baseball, apparently her family, and mine, went to the same apple orchard in the fall, even though neither of our families knew each other, and we'd pick out the best apples, and then go to the baseball diamond that was a couple blocks from my house, and play baseball; instead of using an actual ball, we'd use apples, and laugh as they exploded from the force of the bat.

I blushed, and stopped typing, reading over my paper, or what I had on it so far.
