A/N - ^ that's my actual face 😂😂
After a long week of cheer practice, my mother decided to take a few friends of mine and myself out to dinner. So I chose Steven and Shawn. Yes, I'm friends with my brother.
She drove us to the Argil Grill where I got the goat cheese salad. "Is that all you're having?" Steven asked me and I nodded. I forced myself to hold in the laughter to his concerned look. Wow, I'm a bitch.
My mother offered to take us to Dairy Queen for dessert. I remember, as a child, the only way I could remember the difference between dessert and desert was that you want two desserts.... I don't even want one dessert.
My mother pulled our SUV into the parking lot and we went inside. "I don't really want anything." I pleased my mother but she shook her head. "That's too bad, because your little salad wasn't enough for dinner. Order something." She shouted. When'd she get so mean?!Steven talked me through a small vanilla ice cream cone with lots of awkward conversation starters and poking me and showing me funny pictures on Instagram.
After Steven left, my mother apologized for what she said and all was good in the world.
