Alex's POV
My mom smiled and looked at the Alpha and Luna. Luna Sandy looked at Grayson and smiled. They were both happy that we had found each other. Since the ceremony was over everyone went home. Luna Sandy asked us if we wanted to come over for dinner and my mom said yes. We all walked to the pack house together. Grayson had his arm around me the whole way there and our parents just talked and my sister just listened.

Once we got to the pack house the Alpha told us that we could sit down. Our parents sat on the large couch, my sister sat on my mom's lap and me and Grayson sat on the smaller one. "Grayson, you and Alex can go to your room while we talk," the Luna said to him. "Okay," Grayson said and we got up and walked up to his room. It was huge there was a king size bed with a dark blue almost black pillows and a blanket, a large desk in the corner, a dresser in the other and on the right wall there was two doors one I'm assuming is the bathroom and the other a closet. "You can sit down if you want," Grayson said "Okay," I said and went over to his bed and sat down. "Okay I want to get to know you," said Grayson "Like what do you want to know?" I asked "Well anything really," he asked "Okay," I replied. "My full name is Alexandria Clare Morgan, my birthday is June 13th, 2001, my favorite colors are black, light blue, and purple, I love animals and the woods, I've always wanted to be a veterinarian, I like drawing and painting, my favorite book series is The Mortal Instruments, and, well that's about it." "What about you." I asked. "My full name is Grayson Thomas MaKale, my birthday is March 19th, 2001, my favorite colors are black, dark blue, and red, I love the woods and the beach, and I like to draw too," he said. "What about reading?" I asked. "Do you like to read?" "No, not really the only time I read is at school," he replied. "Well your no fun, I love reading." I said. We continued talking for a while and we must have fell asleep because I woke up to my mom shaking me.

"Alex it's nine o'clock the Luna just finished dinner, yall need to come eat." My mom said as she was walking out of Grayson's room. "But I don't want to get up I like having you in my arms were I know your safe." Grayson whined. "Were just going down stairs to eat nothing will happen to me." I told him. "You never know." Said Grayson. "Let's go eat," I said. We walked down stairs to were the Luna was setting the table. "Mmmm that smells amazing what is it?" I asked Luna Sandy. "Steak and potatoes." She replied. "Yay!" Me and Grayson said at the same time. Everyone just laughed as we all sat down. After we finished eating my mom said we needed to leave. "I will see you tomorrow Princess." Grayson said in my ear as he hugged me and kissed me on the top of the head, which caused me to blush. As we were walking out the door my mom just looked at me and smiled. The drive home didn't take long and it was silent. When we got home my dad told me to go get ready for bed. Even though it was only ten o'clock I was tired so I didn't argue with him. I walked up to my room and got my pajamas, then went to get a shower. After I got out of the shower, I dried off and got dressed then brushed my teeth and hair. After I got done I layed down on my bed and picked up my phone to see if I had any messages. I had one from Grayson I opened it and read it 'Goodnight Princess' I smiled and replied 'Goodnight'. After that I plugged in my phone and turned of the lights, it didn't take long at all for me to fall asleep.

"Alex wake up, Grayson is here to pick you up." Said my mom as she shook me. I jumped up and looked at my alarm clock. Eleven o'clock, "Okay I'm up." I told her. She walked out and let me get dressed. I picked out a light blue tank top, black jean shorts, and my black converse. I walked to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth, my hair and got dressed. I heard a knock on the bathroom door "Alex?" My mom asked as if trying to get me to hurry. "I'm almost done" I told her. I knew she had left when I heard my bedroom door close. I finished up and walked down stairs. When I got down there my mom was making lunch and Grayson was walking around the living room looking at all the pictures on the wall. I tried to sneak up on him but sneaking up on a werewolf is impossible. "I know your behind me Alex," He said. I laughed and asked "Okay, well where are we going?" "it's a surprise." He replied with a smile. "Ready to go?" He asked "yes." "Mom, me and Grayson are leaving." I told her "Okay, be back at nine," She said. "Okay" I said not very happy. As we were walking out the door. I heard my dad yell Grayson's name he told me to wait here the he would be back in a minute. I stood by the door waiting and about two minutes later he walked back out and said let's go. We started walking towards the woods, it took us about fifteen minutes to get to the edge of the woods. "Close your eyes." He told me "but then I can't see where we're going. I said "exactly, I will make sure you don't run into a tree or trip." He replied with a smile. I looked at him and said "Okay but if you let me fall or run in to something I will kill you." I told him. My wolf whimpered at the thought of hurting our mate, you can't kill mate. She said I'm just kidding I won't hurt him. I told her. I closed my eyes and Grayson put his hands on my shoulders, I smiled when I felt sparks. I opened my eyes and looked back at him,"close your eyes or you will ruin the suprise." He told me "Okay" I said and closed my eyes. He started leading me farther into the forest about twenty mines of walking we came to a sudden stop.

"Can I open my eyes?" I asked "yes" he replied. When I opened my eyes I saw a huge tree that was one a cliff not on the edge but like right in the middle. The view was gorgeous you could see mountains and a valley full of trees. Under the huge tree there was a blanket with a picnic basket sitting on it and there were lights strung in the tree. I looked at Grayson and smiled, he gestured for me to go sit on the blanket. We both sat down and he opened the basket and pulled out two sandwiches, "I hope you like turkey and cheese." He said "I do" I replied and took the sandwich. We ate our sandwiches and talked. Then he reached in the basket and pulled out a box, when he opened the box I saw chocolate chip cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. He offered the box to me I grabbed two of each and starting eating my cookies. I said "Thanks," and looked at him. He said "your welcome Princess," and smiled. After we finished eating we layed down on the blanket and spent the next few hours talking. I looked down at my phone and realized I had a text fron Seara and it was nine thirty.

"Damn it, my parents are going to yell at me it's nine thirty" I said as I jumped up "they said be home at nine." I said as I looked at Grayson "it's okay" he said "your dad told me to bring you home at ten but no later." "Okay, but we better start picking this stuff up I started putting the stuff back in the basket. "You don't have to do that," Grayson said "I will come and get later." "We better get you home so your dad don't get mad." "Okay." I replied when I looked at the time again we had eight minutes till ten. "Grayson we only got eight minutes till I have to be home." "We're going to have to shift and run." He said "Okay" I said. We each went behind a tree so we could undress and shift so we didn't rip our clothes. I will just leave my clothes here I will get them tomorrow I thought to myself. Once I shifted into my black wolf I walked out from behind the tree and noticed Grayson had already shifted into his gray and white wolf Lakota and was waiting for me. Ready to go he asked me through our mind link yes I replied and took off. It didn't take long for him to catch up to me, once we got to my house I mind linked my mom to come open the door. She came and opened the door, I looked at Grayson goodnight and thanks again for tonight I said goodnight and your welcome he said as he turned to run home. I walked in the door and went up to my room were I shifted and got dressed. I got on my bed and grabbed my phone so I could answer Seara's text.

I got up and walked down stairs to ask my mom, luckily she was still awake. "Mom?" I asked "what?" She replied "can I go to the mall with Seara tomorrow at noon?" I asked hoping she would say yes. "I guess but don't stay out to late, you have school the next day." She said "Okay thanks" I said, and started walking back upstairs.

After that I got up and walked to my bathroom where I brushed my hair and teeth. Once I was done I walked back into my plugged in my phone, got into bed and went to sleep.
