Chapter 14

Ashleys p.o.v
I woke up slightly dazed. My vision blurred.
"Ashley! Ashley were landing" I heard joe say softly on my ear. I realised that his arm was around me and I suddenly remembered the awkward moment that occurred before take off.

I sat forward so that Joe could free his arm a little bit He still kept his arm there though and rested his hand on my shoulder. I looked over at Oli to see what he was watching and glanced at the time on the laptop screen while looking out of the window. We still had a little bit to go until we landed.

Oli noticed me watching the screen and offered me one of his earphones. I nodded "Thank you" and took the earphone putting it in my ear and leaning closer to Oli. I felt joes arm leave my back and the warmth suddenly left me. I could feel his eyes on me as I watched the movie. Was he jealous? No. That's absurd.

The movie was good and before we knew it we had landed. I handed Oli his matching earphone back.

"That was a good movie" I stated leaning back into my original position.
"Yeah bit too gruesome for my liking though".

Joe stood up and took olis bags out. Oli then headed out and I watched as he exited the plane. He would wait for us to come out.

Joe then took out my bags and I smiled widely showing my appreciation.

"Thanks Joe"
"No problem Ash"

I waited for him to get his stuff together and we got off the plane together. Oli came into view as he waited beside his suitcases.

"Ok where are we gonna find the others?" Oli questioned with his phone in his hand. He began walking in front of us as he called Caspar, running his fingers through his slick hair. I've got to admit, his hair was on point.

After a quick chat he turned to us.

"They're off waiting by the arrivals exit."
We nodded and the three of us headed to our destination as we talked about going to coachella. I've only been to coachella once but it was ages ago and I have dreamt of going again since.

Our massive group came into view and we started walking faster towards them.

"Finally, took your time" Troye commented.
"Oi shut up you peanut" I retaliated.
"Peanut?" Joe questioned before he broke into one of his adorable laughs. Oh how I've fallen in love with that beautiful laugh.

I rolled my eyes at him, smirking, and pulled my bags to catch up with josh and Caspar.
As I walked faster I overheard the boys talking behind me.

"Just tell her Joe! Jesus Christ, you can't keep it to yourself forever! It's obvious she likes you so stop being such a wimp" I heard Marcus harshly whisper.

Who were they talking about. Shit. What if Joe has feelings for someone else. What am I thinking?! They probably weren't even talking about Joe. But the idea of Joe with someone else hurts. I don't know why. But it hurts.

We stood in the blazing hot sun for about 10 minutes whilst waiting for our ubers to arrive.
It was around 1:30pm when two black, 10 seated vans pulled up in front of us.

Caspar made some weird sound of relief, making me laugh.
"Took them long enough" Caspar stated in his thick South African accent, smirking at me.

"Stop being such a flirt" I joked, punching his arm.
"I can't help it, your looking smoking hot today; but then again you look hot af everyday" he smirked again whilst reverting his eyes to my right where Joe was standing and smirked even more. If that's even possible. I could feel myself blushing. I looked behind me to find a flustered Joe. His hair was wind swept and his shirt hung off of him more loosely now that it was hot and humid.
