Chapter 34

Ashleys POV
Joe stirred and his grip tightened around my waist.

Zoe smiled knowingly and then turned back to Alfie.

"Joe. Joe" I whispered trying to wake him up.

He opened one eye and when his gaze landed on me his eyes shot open.

His cheeks went bright red and the room erupted in laughter. I smirked and lifted my hand to rest on his chest.

"You ok?" I asked chuckling.
"Uh... Uh... Uh yeah" he laughed awkwardly.

Maybe he's not comfortable with me this close to him.
I sat up and straightened out my shirt. I looked up at Joe. He seemed slightly disappointed that I had moved.

"Hey guys, now that you're awake. Come over here and watch the video I uploaded. People are loving you guys in it" Oli said looking over at us. Caspar was next to Oli watching the video.

I walked over with Joe behind me. Stepping over everyone's legs, I finally made it to where Caspar and Oli were sitting. I plopped down on the couch next to Oli. Joe squeezed in next to me and turned his chest so that he was facing me. It was a small space with Marcus' muscular figure next to him.

Oli continued the paused video. It's hilarious. I can understand why people are loving it. Oli insisted that we should be in his videos more often and of course I agree. I love being in his videos. They're always a load of fun.

Oli was persistent in showing us the array of comments that were streaming in to his notifications. He scrolled down to the comment section and began reading some of them.

"Great video Oli. You guys need to do another video together, you're hilarious" Oli read aloud smirking at me.

Caspar pointed to the led screen with a gleaming white smile. His giggles bounce off the walls.

"Read that one Oli" Caspar said sounding like a 5 year old. I swear he's the cutest guy.

"Aha ok Caspar" Oli replied and searched for the comment Caspar was previously pointing to.

"Joe and Ashley are literally the cutest. Look at 5:36, they have a little moment. I can't deal" Oli carries on in a monotonous tone.

"Shall we go to 5:36?" Caspar asks mischievously.

"No" me and Joe reply simultaneously earning a few sniggers from around the room.

"There's so many comments about Ashley and Joe why don't we check out all the Jashley evidence" Caspar winked.

"No" me and Joe say again at the same time.

A 'ding' sound erupts from my phone causing me to jump a little. I glance at the dimly lit screen.

"Me and con are coming over, shall we get pizza?" I search for the contact name. Of course it's Jack, who else wound it be.

"That would be really nice! But there's quite a few people here, can you handle that many pizzas?? ;) I'll pay you back xx" I text back.

"Who's that?" Joe asks curiously.
I turn my head to my left to face him. It's only when I'm greeted by his gleaming blue eyes that I realise how close we are. I can feel his breath and his minty scent comforts me in a way.

I'm taken back and I struggle to find the words to reply; lost in the whirlwind of my overthinking mind. My breathing hitches in my throat and I mentally knock my head to kick some sense into me.
