Chapter 31

Ashleys POV
"Right, now... it's Joe and Ashleys turn" Jim beamed down the mic and the crowd cheered.

We both walked over towards the set up. It was in the middle of the stage so Joe sat on the right of the board and I walked across Jim to sit on the left. Joe peeped his head around the board and made a weird face which was projected on the screen. I burst out laughing while the tech men fixed the microphones. Joe peeps around the board again and smiles.

"You laugh is cute" he says innocently just when the microphones begin to work again. His voice booms through the speakers and the whole room has heard him. Rip Jashley shippers.

The room goes silent and then the audience erupts in "awhs".

I go red and decide to focus on Zoe as she laughs. I signal to her to get on with the questions and she does so.

"Ok calm down everyone! Let's get on with the questions" zoes says as she looks over at Jim.

Jim lifts his mic and starts reading from the first card.

"Who has the cutest smile"

It's quite obvious that Zoe and Troye have written these cards. They're always scheming some way to try and get a Jashley moment.

I put my Joe card up. He has got a cute smile.

"Aw they can't agree" Marcus coos in his Margaret voice.

I look around the small board to find Joe holding up his Ashley card. I smile at him and return back to my side.

"Who is more likely to walk in on the other naked" Jim chuckles.

"Well I already walked in on her naked today" Joe remarks humorously but realises what he's said and covers his mouth in shock.

"You what?" Marcus asks in shock and then begins to laugh loudly along with Alfie.

"Joe just can't keep his mouth shut today can he" Niomi giggles and then winks at me.

"Ok ok calm down everyone" Jim says to the gasping audience.

"Ok who is more likely to be oblivious to the fact that someone is in love with them"

I can't decide whether they wrote these questions when they were drunk or high but I think the audience are catching on.

I put up my Ashley card because I am quite oblivious to everything.

"Oh they finally agree" Tanya remarks and the audience claps.

Joe must have put up his Ashley card. What does that mean?

"Ok, who is the better singer?"

I put my Joe card up because I don't want people to think I'm full of myself and Joe actually is quite a good singer.

"Ok they don't agree" Jim laughs.

"Go on Joe give us a little sing song" I joke smirking.

"Shut up" he laughs.

"Ok final question... Who is more likely to fall in love with the other person?"

The audience squeals and then goes silent as they await our answers. I debate which card to put up. If I put up my Ashley card then it's like basically telling everyone that I'm in love with Joe sugg. If I put up my Joe card then Joe might think that I don't like him and it could be the end of the road for Jashley. Maybe I shouldn't put any cards up at all.

I decide that's the best option and just wait for someone to tell me off.

"Ashley what's your answer" Zoe asks impatiently.

"I don't have one" I shrug.

"Aw come on, joes answered"

I sit there looking at the ground for a minute thinking.

"Fine" I say stubbornly and put up my Ashley card.

The crew all smirk and the crowd scream a little. I look up at the projected screen to find that Joe has put up his Joe card and I've put up my Ashley card.

What have they done.

Sorry for such a short chapter. I needed to update and I'm quite busy at the moment. I will definately update soon. Maybe even tonight but I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. I know that This story is quite a slow one but I just want to portray their friendship first and i prefer when there's little moments between the couple in fanfics before it's actually clear to eachother that they like one another.

I will try and make the pace a little faster in the next few chapters so that we can get to the moment we've all been waiting for.
