Chapter 5

Joes p.o.v
I was so excited to get back to the apartment.
Me and Caspar had arranged for all of Troye and Ashleys British friends to meet at our place to surprise them, and then after we are going to have a meal at some restaurant that Marcus has booked.

After our hour long conversation in the car we all headed up towards the apartment block doors. I rang the buzzer and the doors unlocked. I carried Ashleys bags as we began up the steep stairs. As we got to the second floor I got short of breath and needed to take a break.

"Joe let me carry one" Ashley smiled.

"No it's fine don't worry Ash let me carry them for you" I replied

"What a gentlemen" Troye murmured behind us.

Ashleys p.o.v
That name. It sounded so good. Especially when he said it. Even though he calls me that all the time I can never get used to it.

"Ok well don't start moaning about me not wanting to carry one of your bags when you carried mine because I did insist that I you didn't have to carry mine" I said shortly and made my way up the final few steps.

Joe made it up and joined us after a few minutes.

He took his keys out and unlocked the door. He placed my bags by the dining table and moved inwards.

"Well this is the jaspar pad!" Joe shouted.

"Joe don't you have neighbours?" I laughed.
Suddenly people jumped from the stairs making their way to me and Troye.

It all happens so fast I couldn't tell who they were.

"Ashley! Oh my gosh it's so nice to see you" Zoe shouted running up to and hugging me.

"Omg Zoe" I said hugging her back. People i had talked to for ages before but never actually met such as Tanya, Niomi and oli.

"Oli come here" I shouted across the room as I ran to him.
He hugged me tightly and lifted me off the ground, twirling me around. He finally let me down carefully and placed his hands on my shoulders.

"We finally meet aye?" Oli laughed.
"Finally" I smiled my arms around his neck.

"So you know how you wanted them adidas shoes but couldn't find them anywhere?" I said breaking from his gaze.

"Yeah?" He said looking confused.
I jogged to my bag through the crowd of people that were gathering around each other and talking to each other.

I opened my rucksack and pulled out the blue adidas shoes and hid it behind my back as I speed walked back to Oli.

"Ashley what have you done?" He said smirking.

"Oh nothing" I said simply as I revealed the adidas box. I opened it revealing the grey and blue shoes carefully pulling away at the tissue paper wrapped around them.

"You didn't" Oli said in disbelief. "Oh my lord Ashley you didn't have to."
"I wanted to. Now try them on"

He pulled them out the box and pulled them on to his feet.
"Ashley they're perfect!" And he hugged me again.

As I looked over his shoulder I noticed Joe looking in our direction. He kept looking for like 3 long seconds before he noticed me and quickly looked away.

Oli finally let go and smiled at me.
"I got something for you but it's at my apartment so come by tomorrow okay?"

"Ok" I said smiling.
We talked for a bit then decided to join the large conversation that was taking place in the room.

"I feel like getting drunk and playing truth or dare" Dan blubbered and then wiggled his eyebrows at Phil. I always thought they had something going on. We all smiled at each other as he said that.

I was still waiting for Marcus to turn up. Joe said he had left to pick him up and neither of them had returned since 8pm. It was now 9pm.

People began to leave and we all agreed that we would all meet up together sometime this week. Jim and Tanya left and I hugged them goodbye. And we decided that since Dan has somehow managed to find some sort of alcohol and was now drunk, that it would be best for Phil to take him home. Again, I hugged them and I promised that I would make a video with them for their gaming channel.

Finally it was just, Zoe, Alfie, Caspar, Oli,Troye left. Since it was now 10pm and we were all going to stay at the jaspar pad tonight we decided to settle down and watch a movie. We pushed the couch back slightly so to allow space for everyone and I went to fetch blankets and pillows from caspars room. With permission from Caspar of course 😉.

I walked into the room and scoured through his wardrobe finding two red plumped pillows beneath piles of socks and marmite style trousers. I placed them on the ground and began pulling off his duvet from his bed. All of a sudden it got slightly chilly. I reached onto the floor finding a navy hoodie and slid it on over my head. Caspar wouldn't mind.

I turned back around to continue taking the duvet of his bed When I heard his window open somehow. Next thing I know I'm falling back and I hit the ground softly with my eyes closed. I'm glad I left those pillows there.

I open one eye revealing a very flustered Joe hovering centimetres above me with both hands by my sides.

We looked into each other's eyes for what felt like for ever. Gosh I could get lost in those ocean like eyes.

"Hey it was meant to be a suprise Joe and you end up literally falling for my cousin" I heard Marcus' voice radiate though the room.

Joe got up wiping down the creases in his trousers. He held down his hand for me to take. He pulled me up and grinned at me.

"Well suprise! It's been so long Ashley!" Marcus said as he hugged me.

"Well jumping through a window instead of the front door is one way of surprising me" I laughed hugging Marcus back.
