Chapter 32

Ashleys POV

After finishing the show, we waved to the screaming audience as the security guards pushed us off stage.

"That was amazing guys, well done everyone!" Marcus shouted facing everyone as he absentmindedly pulled me into a hug. He finally let go and we start to make our way out of the room. I walk beside Zoe and Tanya who were talking across me about going to Disney land or something. I stayed quiet thinking to myself. I need to tell Joe.

As we opened the doors to the main lobby area, a small crowd of fans huddled around us. Everything was getting too much. I know I hate small spaces but this felt different. My vision became blurry and my legs began to buckle.

"Ashley? Ashley?!" Zoe shouted as she struggled to hold me up. I was aware of everything happening around me but I was not in control of anything.

The grip around my arms changed and I knew straight away that it was Joe. He began to lift me up and I felt like I was floating.

"Move...please!" Joe begged as he hauled me out of the crowd.

I tried to wriggle out of his grasp.

"Joe I'm fine" I mumble.

"No your not" he replied furiously. I watched his expressions as he carried me bridal style. His hair flopped down his face and his jaw line clenched every now and then. God he's gorgeous.

Light streamed into my view as we ran out the main entrance.

"Hey you! Yeah you! Ya dick!"

I recognise that voice anywhere. Cameron.
I thought that problem was solved. I thought he got the message. Clearly not.

Joes head whipped around to his left.

"Fuck off" he huffed as he attempted to walk past Cameron.

"What did you do to her?! You... You.... You monster!" Cameron screamed as he tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

"Are you for real right now? I'm helping her! I didn't do anything to her, I would never even think of it you sick bastard" Joe replied moving me away from Cameron.

"She loves me! Everyone ships me and her, we belong together." Cameron cried out desperately.
"I love her"

My heart began to ache for Cameron. Why did he have to do this.

Cameron begins to pull Joes grip away from me. It's like I'm completely lifeless.

Although Cameron is physically stronger, Joe is stronger mentally and when he's passionate about something, he'll fight twice as hard.

Joes grip tightened around my body and he pulled me away from him. Cameron began laughing.

"Do you think you have a Chance with her or something?" Cameron's laughs became louder and more obnoxious.

"She'll never like a guy like you. Your weak and pathetic. She needs someone strong like me to look after her. All you care about is your hair and pranking your stupid roommate. Seriously get a grip. She'll never love you" he said finally and that was it. That was the final straw.

"Your wrong" I whispered.
I notice Cameron's head whip down to my level. My feet are now on the floor and joe is holding onto my shoulders. I regain my balance. And look at Joe. He looks as if he's about to cry. I hope he hasn't let Cameron's words get to him.

I walk over slowly towards cameron and look at him in the eye.

"Your wrong" I say louder. I know everyone has heard, because the British crew are all standing behind us and Joe is now focused on me. The security manage to hold off the fans.

"What?" Cameron's voice cracks. I slap him across the face and a stinging sensation comes to the surface of my palm. The slap was slightly out of sight. All my friends had seen it but none of the fans had a clue about what was going on.

Cameron's cheek is red and he gradually turns his head to look at me. He has a hurt expression mixed with one of anger. He then looks over at Joe who's mouth is open in shock.

"What have you done!? You'll never be enough for her, you worthless piece of shit" Cameron screams and leaps for Joe. He prepares to punch him but Joe acts quickly and wraps his arms around Cameron and pushed him down in a rugby tackle.

"JOE!" I scream and run over to the mess.

Marcus sprints over and tries to haul Joe off Cameron. Zoe and Niomi run over to me and pull me away. Tanya is crying for Jim to get security but they're too occupied with keeping the viewers at bay and out of sight. Caspar runs over and helps Marcus but Cameron now has a firm grip on Joe. Troye begins running for help and Jim is trying to hold Alfie back. It's all a big mess and I've dragged everyone into it.
