Chapter 26

Joes POV
We sat in the crowd as fans scream our names from all around the arena. I'm sat next to Caspar and Connor. Oli is on the other side of Caspar and Jenn is on the other side of Connor. Zoe, Marcus and the rest of the crew sit a row below us.

Troye randomly told us to come and see him live like 20 minutes ago. We obviously don't mind but we just weren't planning on coming. I have no idea where Ashley is either. I was hoping to sit next to her.

I turn to Connor and Jenn .
"Hey do you guys know where Ashley is?"
I ask concerned.

"Oh you'll see" Jenn smiles and then nudges Connor.
Connor grins and turns back to his conversation with Alfie.

The lights suddenly go off and the arena screams. The introduction plays on the screen as all the fans chant Troyes name.

I hear Jenn mumble to Connor " oh My god I'm so nervous for her" .

What does that mean? I listen in again.

"She'll do amazing, we all know how talented she is" and they both nod in agreement.

The lights turn back on and there she is. On stage is Ashley holding a microphone. She waves to some fans and gets the whole audience on their feet clapping. Amazing.

Troye begins to sing and she looks over at us. She smiles faintly at us and continues to get the audience going.

Her voice radiates through the microphone and she sounds like a fricken Angel. She's so angelic and she captures everyone's attentions immediately. I'm starstruck. I didn't realise how talented she was. She sings with so much passion and I get goosebumps on my arms. The hairs on my back stand up. The audience screams and chants her name. The whole arena then begins to sing with her and it's the most amazing sight I've ever seen.

"That's my best friend" Jenn shouts and everyone laughs and nods.

Ashley turns towards us and begins singing with every emotion in her body. It feels like she's singing to me and its almost like it's just us in this arena for a moment.

I begin to stand up clapping In time with the beat.

"That's my girl" I shout... Maybe too loud. Connor pats my back and Oli and Caspar laugh at me, while everyone in the row below us turns to look at me. I turn bright red, I can feel it.

" aw my little brothers in love" Zoe coos.
"With a girl with that voice I wouldn't be surprised. I think I'm in love actually" Caspar jokes.
I roll my eyes but I can't help but smile.
"Shut up"

I stay standing as I gaze upon her. I could watch her sing all day. The song finishes and everyone stands up; and I mean everyone. Troye and Ashley hug on stage and the whole audience "awhs" while taking pictures. Caspar and Oli look like proud parents as they start vlogging and shouting Ashleys name.

I watch as Ashley turns towards our group and waves. I wave back. All the fans notice this and go mental taking pictures.

"I just want to say thankyou to all of you that came here today and can we get a massive round of applause for Ashley over here" Troye shouts down the mic and the whole room erupts in claps.

I watch contently as Ashley laughs and covers her face. She mouths thank you putting her hands out in the shape of a heart.

I smile.

"Now I have a secret to tell y'all" Troye says gently down the mic.
"I basically lied to Ashley to get her up here" he laughs.

Ashley whips around to Troye with a shocked expression.
"Are you for real?" She says in disbelief through the mic.

"I just wanted you guys to see how good of a singer she is" Troye giggles. "Isn't she a good singer?" Troye shouts and the whole arena erupts in excitement.

Ashley is directed off stage shortly after while Troye does a "Q and A".

I wait for her to come and sit with us. I don't even know if security will let her sit with us but I wait patiently anyway.

About halfway through Troyes "q 'n' a" Ashley walks in slowly to make sure no one notices her but it doesn't work and the fans behind us scream. Security manage to calm them down so that Troye could continue but I could still hear the squeals from behind us.

She walks up to our row and again I wait for her to sit next to me.

Ashleys POV
I walk up the aisle to find Jenn and Connor. I sit in between them and they start going on abut how good I was. Honestly, it felt amazing to be up there. My heart is still racing from the adrenaline.

I sit with them for a solid ten minutes. I haven't spent enough time with them. We talked about the latest news and what time their meet ups were at while listening to Troye talk.

I look to my left slightly and lay my eyes upon a down trodden Joe. I excuse myself from the conversation and slip over to Joe. There's no where to sit so I just causally sit on his lap. He doesn't seem to mind. In fact, he wrap his arms around my waist and pulls me back further. His hand moves down further while his other hand plays with the hem of my shirt.

I see a flash of light. It blinds me for a second before I over hear a fan say "oh my god look what I just got".

I automatically know what they're talking about but right now I don't care.

As Troyes set finishes, security leads us out early. As we do so, Joe wraps his muscular arm around my waist pulling me closer to me and although I can feel the thousands of eyes on our backs, fangirling, I kind of embrace it. Maybe it's not so much of a bad thing.
