Chapter 28

Ashleys POV
We had to move a few tables and add a couple chairs but we all managed to fit. I sat in between Oli and Joe as I listened to them go on about their Hit the road USA premiere.

I had finished my burger and was nibbling on the chips when I got a call from Jack.

The annoying ringtone radiated across the table and everyone turned to look at me.

"Don't mind me" I laughed and everyone giggled along with me. I answered.

"Hey jack! How are you?" I gleamed. I noticed Oli and Joe watching me as I took the call. Probably wondering if we need to leave now.

"Yeah we arrived early, mind picking us up and helping us unpack? I heard we're going to sawyers after?"

"Yeah we are and sure we'll come and pick you guys up, what hotel are you guys staying in any way?"

"We're renting a small apartment for a bit, not far from your place so we'll probably be around constantly if you don't mind" Jack laughed down the phone.

"I don't mind at all, ok we're on our way now, see you in 20 minutes"

"Alright thanks ash, means a lot babe"

"No worries see you in a bit" I laughed.

"Alright bye" Jack sighed happily down the phone.

I hung up and put my phone away.

"Alright lads were off, Troye I trust you to keep everything in order back home" I smirked as I pointed at him.

"I'm a responsible adult" Troye replied jokingly. 

I rolled my eyes and waved goodbye to everyone.

"Make sure your back before your curfew and no funny business" Troye shouted as he pointed towards me and Joe.

"Oh my god" I laughed and walked out waving one last time. Caspar, Oli and Joe followed behind me as we briskly walked towards the house.

"Joe where are you going, follow the leader" I could hear Caspar joke behind.

We finally made it and everyone hopped into the car. Joe took the passenger seat while Caspar and Oli sat in the back.

"How far away is the airport?" Joe asked as looked out the window.

"About 15 minutes, we'll be there in no time" I replied as I backed the car out of the drive.

Joe turned on the radio and we all began singing to the music.
Joe stopped singing and glanced at me, I realised what he was doing and stopped singing. I indicated into the pickup lane outside the main entrance and I saw Jack and Conor's faces as they noticed us. They chucked their bags in the boot and hopped in the back.

"Hey guys! How are you?" I beamed as I drove back onto the highway.

"We're good"

The conversation went on until we arrived at their rental apartment. It was about 5 minutes away from my place.

We all began helping them unpack and when I checked my phone it was 8:10. We were late but im sure sawyer will understand.

"God I'm exhausted" Jack stated in his thick British accent before flopping into his bed.

"Cmon Jack we've got somewhere to be, then you can rest" I say pulling his arm for him to get up.

"No just sleeeeep" he moaned and pulled me onto the bed beside him. Conor walked in to grab his shoes from beside the bed.
