Day 3 Pm

We decided to just go on our pajamas, look less obvious.

We raced each other down the hall and to the cafeteria on our floor. We looked around and contemplating where to start our crazy night.

Up and down the isles of the food store we ran doing cart wheels and flips, chasing each other, and messing around.

Kira disappeared and came back with a bottle of Diet Coke.

And Mentos.

She lined four bottles of in a horizontal line. And set her camera up in front she put the timer on the camera and joined the three of us on the other side of the Diet Coke line.

"Ready?" Kira asked getting in a  running stance.

We all nodded.

"Now!" She called out.

We all took of running to the line dropping our Mentos into the bottles. The soda erupted spraying carbonation everywhere. At the same time we all jumped through the streams of soda.

Soaking wet, we went o her camera and looked at the perfectly timed masterpiece.
The photo showed us all mid air getting drenched in Diet Coke. Kira placed the picture neatly in her bag.

We all left the store and headed to the record store, crunching on Doritos and sipping on CapriSun.

Cameron was like a devil in her heaven. She flipped and rummaged through the records gasping at nearly even though she had seen them all a thousand times.
I looked through the single song records. Finally seeing my favorite song.

"I'm putting my favorite song on. Listen up Cameron." I placed the record on the player and played the music.

'Come On Eileen' by Dexy's Midnight Runners blasted through the record player.

Cameron jerked around in happiness. Vivian knew the song as well.

"Hey I know this one!" Kira yelled and bopped her head to the music.

I leaped on to the cashier's counter and sang out the lyrics.
The others did the same climbing on to desks and counters lining the store.

We danced on the counter tops while Kira's camera captured every corny dance move on its timer setting.

Cameron shoveled Doritos into her mouth while pressing the button for the first floor on the elevator. We sped down and stepped out on to the new floor.
We all followed Vivian to the door labeled 'newborns'.

"I volunteer here sometimes." Viv smiled pulling a key card out of her bag, scanning it, and holding open the door for the rest of us.

"Kids this young stay here?" I whispered eyeing the rows of baby boys and girls. Each one swaddled tightly in a cocoon of calmness.

"Yup. Born into hell." Cameron laughed reading the names on the ends of the bins they were sleeping in.

"Is any one our age still here from birth?" I asked quietly.

"Maybe one or two." Vivian smiled and picked up one of the sleeping children. The child cooed in her arms.

"This ones my favorite. This is Jonathan." Vivian smiled and rocked the child gently.

"Did you hear that?" Cameron stopped and stared at the door.

Vivian hurried to check the door and placed Jonathan in Kira's arms.

The boy immediately started to wail.

"I hate children." Kira held the child away from her chest.

"Give me him." I chuckled and took the child from her, who hushed his screams as soon as he was in my arms.

"Wow. Screw you too Jonathan." Kira whispered.

I looked lovingly at the peaceful child. I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He would never have a future. A childhood. He'd never experience the sun, the park, the beach, anything.
His life was over and it hasn't even started.

"It's Genevieve. She's searching the floor." Vivian came running back in.

I handed Jonathan to  her and she placed him back in his bed.

"Sweet dreams buddy." I whispered and followed the rest out quietly.

We tiptoed through the halls with our backs against the walls. The elevator would be too loud, so we all scrambled up the emergency stairs to the second floor. Then took the elevator the rest of the way up.  We looked over the balcony at the many floors below us. Watching Miss Genevieve search the first floor for the noise she heard.

"That was close." Vivian pulled her hair into a side braid.

"That was awesome." Cameron laughed catching her breath.

The library was huge. Books surrounded us on every wall and every square inch of the room.

"What's that?" I pointed to a bolted door in the library.

"It's a special room of books. It's information on every criminal ever hunted by the agency. Only certain people can get in. People like me." Vivian smiled and pulled out yet another key card.

"What are you the keeper if they keys?" Cameron grabbed the card from her hand and examined it.

"Maybe I am." Vivian grabbed the card back from Cameron.

I reached to grab the card and ran to the door before they could stop me.

"Lucy wait! Maybe you shouldn't." Kira called out.

"Why?" I protested.

"I just don't think it's a good idea. Right guys?" Kira said sternly. Cameron and Vivian just put there heads down and looked away.

"What are you guys not telling me?" I demanded.

"Busy night girls?" Miss Genevieve appeared in the library door way. We all froze.

Vivian took the card from me and hit it from Miss Genevieve.

One thing was for sure, I was getting in that room.

One way or another.
