Day 57

All was dark. All was silent.

I didn't know what was going on. My mind races to bring back a memory. Something. Anything.

My mind was blank. All I could remember was darkness.

My face got hot. Tears welled in my eyes.

"Is anyone there?! Hello?" I cried out into the overwhelming silence.

"I'm here." A voice broke the painful sound of nothing.

"Who? Please! Help me!" I pleaded for the mysterious voice.

"I'm here. I'll always be here. I will protect you." The voice was closer. I could feel the breath on my shoulder.

"Where am I? What's going on?" I shook as the hairs on my neck stood up.

"You're with me, of course. Where you want to be."

"Who are you?"

"Shhhhh. Don't be afraid."

"I am afraid. I want to go home." I sobbed.

"Come here."

"I don't know where you are!" I cried out in frustration.

"I'm behind you."

I spun around only to see more darkness.

"I'm beside you."

I jerked to my side.

"I can't see you!" I screamed.

"I'm holding you."

My feet suddenly lifted off the ground. Arms wrapped around my frail body.

"Speak again." I whispered.

Instead of speaking, the mystery voice landed a cold kiss on my lips. I recognized the kiss.

It was one I didn't want.

"Jackson?!" I screamed.

"Shhhhh," his hand clamped over my mouth "girls are far prettier when they don't speak." He spit out.

I couldn't see him, but yet I could. I could see his evil grin. His dark eyes full of hate. Yet all was still dark.

"Let go of me!" I squirmed in his now tight grasp.

"Why would I do that? I want to hold you. Don't deny it, you loved or first kiss." He added.

"No! Get off of me! I hate you!"
I flailed my arms trying to hit him.

"You may hate me now, but you'll love me soon. We'll meet again." He dropped m to the floor harshly.

"No. I never want to see you."

Light came suddenly. I could see his face and all his features.

"You're so cute when you're stupid. You think Andrew and your gal pals can help you. You're not safe here. See you later, Target."

I screamed over and over. The lights went out again and darkness swarmed.

"No! Jackson leave me alone! No!" I screamed.

****

"Lucy! Lucy wake up!" Kira shook me out of the nightmare.

"He was there! I saw him! He touched me! He kissed me!" I struggled to sit up.

"He's gone! He's gone Lucy! I'm here. It was only a dream." She took me in her arms.

"It was so real. He-he held me."

"It was only a dream. I'm here now. It was only a dream..." Kira repeated as she stroked my hair. I sobbed into her black crop top.
