I'm so happy she's finally born! I picture her so small, like Becky and with small plump lips like Austin's and she has his eyes and his nose and just omg asdgfjkl.

Becky's POV

-3 days later-

Parenting. They never make it sound easy or look easy, because it's not. Parenting, at a young age is probably the hardest thing you'll ever put yourself through, not that I'm complaining but your baby never arrives with a manual.

You kind of just cope.

Adelaide was only three days old, she was doing good and I highly hoped to go home. Hospitals weren't really my thing.

"Alright, Mrs. Mahone, your discharge papers are being filed in so you and your baby should be going home in the next couple hours." The nurse informs me and I give her a smile before she checks my vitals and I hear Austin walk in.

"You look better." He compliments before he kisses my forehead and I smile up at him.
"Where's Adelaide?" He asks.

"She's up in the nursery, they wanted to check up on her before we left." I inform him, stretching lightly in bed.

"Are you ready to go home?" Austin asks with a teasing smile.

"A little. I don't want to go home because I'm scared,  she's so tiny and they help me around here. I'm not technically ready or suited to be a mother, Austin." I sigh and he kisses my temple lightly.

"You're over thinking it, baby. You'll be great and I'll be there to help." He reassures me and I give him a smile before his lips press against my own.

The nurse walks back in, with Adelaide in the same plastic bassinet and she's sound asleep in a onesie.

"She's all good. You both will be able to go home in about an hour." She smiles and Austin reaches for Adelaide, taking her into his arms, pressing her against his chest and she fusses.

He quiets her down, kissing her head lightly and he rocks back and forth in the rocking chair beside me as she wraps her small hand around his index finger and Austin presses his lips against her tiny hand.

"Hi baby girl." He coos, kissing her face and she whines lightly under her breath and Austin chuckles in the process.

The door opens to my room and Michele walks in with a  bouquet of flowers and a pair of pink balloons.

"Oh my god." She mutters, setting the bouquet on the counter with the balloons and she smiles at me before she presses her lips against my temple and I give her a warm smile.

"Hi love." She mumbles against my skin and she moves to the other side of the bed, next to Austin.

"She's so cute." She gushes, taking her from Austin's arms, before she kisses his forehead and I smile at both of them.
"Hi beautiful, I'm your grandma." She coos and later makes an odd face."That sounded odd." She mutters with a slight humor in her voice.
