Austin's POV

-a week later-

I wanted to call her, to make it right. Afterall, she was right, I was acting childish and I should trust her, no matter what but he seemed too touchy the night of the dinner and maybe I over reacted but how else am I supposed to react?

"Just call her, damnit." Robert says, sitting next to me on the couch as I moped.

"I can't. She doesn't want to talk to me." I say, scanning through my phone, opening and closing her contact info.

What was I supposed to say? I know I had to apologize at one point but my stubbornness always got the best of me.

"Then you talk to her anyway. What happened? Why did she leave?" Robert asks, looking at me and I glance at him before my eyes direct to the floor.

"She brought some guy to the dinner and he was being touchy and it just got to me." I say softly, my eyes on him now and a grin resembles on his lips and I confusingly eye him.

"Dude, you're like in love with your sister." He says, with a smirk across his lips and I panic, standing up.

"Step-sister and no. God no." I say, heading upstairs, leaving him in a lonesome in the living room. I was in love with her, who wouldn't be? But I couldn't tell them that, everything would go downhill and I'm not ready to lose her in any way possible.

To Dani❤️:
Hey. Can you come over later? I need your help.

From Dani❤️:
Yeah, sure. Is everything okay?

To Dani❤️:
Yeah. Something came up.

I land on my mattress with a thud and all I could think about was having her here, I gripped the closes pillow, laying my head on it and hugging it. Maybe if I wouldn't act the way I do, she wouldn't be mad at me and maybe if I would trust her the way I should, everything would be okay.

I just had to talk to her first.

Becky's POV

"Hey." I say, opening the door, Robert walking in and greets me.

"Hey." He says before he sits on the couch, hands in the pockets of his leather jacket and I sit across from him, his eyes connecting with mine.

"So what's up?" I ask and he clears his throat lightly.

"Talk to Austin, he's been in bad moods lately, today was the first time in a week that he comes out of his room. I don't know exactly what happened but just talk to him, he won't talk to us and I don't even know why, but for some reason you're the only one that can get through to him." He says and I sigh. I missed him, I did, more than anything but the way he acted just made me feel horrible.

"I'll try." Is all I say, before a wave of silence hits both of us and it's just me and Robert, staring at each other.

"Be honest, are y'all together, like officially?" He asks and I nibble on my lip before I answer and I shrug.
