Austin's POV

"It's all set, you should be able to move into your house in a few days. Here's the pair of keys and good luck." She says, smiling as she hands me paper work.

"Thank you so much." I say, standing up and I shake the redheaded lady's hand as she hands me the pair of keys.

"I hope to see you soon, Mr. Mahone." She smiles and I nod, before walking out the real state office and I head to the car.

I sit in the driver's seat, staring at the pair of house keys that laid on my lap and I feel my phone vibrate in the process.

I pick it up. "Yes, baby?" I say into the phone and I start the engine to my Rover.

"Are you almost home?" Becky asks as I pull out of the parking lot and I get on the highway.

"I'm on my way, why?" I ask, stopping at a light and I tap my finger against the steering wheel.

"Nothing, I just want you home. I miss you and so does Adelaide." She says I could hear the smile in her voice.

"I'm ten minutes away, baby. I'll see you soon." I say, before she hangs up and I set my phone on the center console.

Becky's POV

"You should probably go, Austin's almost home." I say, before throwing on my shirt and I pull my hair up into a ponytail. "I'll call you when he leaves again." I say, leaning toward him and I kiss his lips.

"Promise?" He says with a smile and I laugh lightly, pressing my forehead against his.

"We'll see. Now go." I say, pushing him out of the bedroom door and I walk with him downstairs and he kisses me once more before he walks out of the front door.

I sigh and I decide to check on Adelaide, who's still sound asleep in her crib and just a few minutes later, Austin shows up with a huge smile on his face.

"What?" I question, when I sit beside him at the dinning table and he rummages through his pocket and he slides a silver key toward me. "What is this?" I ask, picking it up and I look at him.

"A key." He says, before kissing my forehead and he proceeds to get up and I follow him.

"Obviously." I laugh. "But a key for what?" I question and he walks towards me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"A key to our new home." He says and I smile, the fakest smile I could play off.

"To a new home?" I question, looking down at the key and a wave of guilt washes over me.

"Yes, we can move in as soon as possible." He says, kissing my forehead once again and I smile, before he pulls me into his chest.

"It's amazing, thank you." I mutter. "But, what about the decorations and all that, I don't know how to do that." I admit and he chuckles.

"You won't have to worry about that, it's all covered. I had it furnished when I bought it and today, the paper work went through." He says, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

"So you've been planning this for a while?" I ask and he nods. "Wow." I mutter and I chuckle, unamused.

"Is that bad?" He asks, raising an eyebrow and I burrow mine before I shake my head.

"No but don't you think we should be spoken about this? You know, talk about what's best for us. For Adelaide." I say softly and he eyeballs me curiously.

"Are you saying you don't want to move in?" He questions and I feel the grip of his arms loosen up and I shake my head, cupping his face in my hands.

"No, no, that's not what I'm saying. I would love to but I think I need to see this house before I decide to move in." I smile and he chuckles before he kisses my cheek.

"Of course. We can go whenever you want. We can go now, if you'd like." He says and I nod, with a smile on my lips.

"Let me just change." I say and he pressed his lips against mine before he lets me go. I rush upstairs.

I change into a pair of jeans and I hear the door open to the bedroom and Austin walks  in.

"Wasn't the bed made before I left?" He questions and I clear my throat, before buttoning up my pants.

"Y-yes but I was looking for something and I was looking for it on the bed and I forgot to, um, to make the bed after." I say, noticing that I was rambling and he gives me a smile.

"What did you lose?" He asks and I mentally slap myself for making the lamest excuse.

"My engagement ring." I gulp and his eyebrows lift just a bit and I smile at him. "It was in the bathroom the whole time."

"You never take that thing off, though." He points out and I fix my shirt in the mirror.

"I know but I took it off early, when I went to the bathroom." I lie and I turn to him, before he wraps his arms around my waist.

"Alright. Well let's go." He says and he pushes me out of the bedroom and I walk into Adelaide's room, picking her up as she wakes up and we make it downstairs.

"Ready?" Austin asks and I nod, before we make it outside to the car and we head out to the new house.
