We make it to the bar across the street and my blood boiled underneath my skin, I was angry. She was with someone else, she was happy, she was laughing and smiling and that wasn't me. It was someone else.
"Austin." Katya says whiles her hands land on my shoulder and I roughly shrug her off.
"Just leave me the fuck alone." I grit and I walk into the bar, hearing Katya's heals clank on the wooden floor.
"Leave you alone? You dragged me with you." She yells, causing people to turn to look at us and I sit at the bar, the bartender pulling a shot glass in front of me.
"I'll have some whiskey." I say and the bartender nods, ducking under the bar, to retrieve a glass cup and I turn to Katya who was standing beside me with a frown on her face and her arms crossed over here chest. "Then you can fucking leave for all I care." I say loudly and I watch her flinch at me words, causing her eyes to water and I take hold of the, now half full cup of whiskey and I take a swig.
"Fine. Maybe your girlfriend will deal with your shit, Mahone." She says before she walks away and I feel the irritation get to me.
"She's not my girlfriend for god sakes!" I yell, causing everyone to fall into a deep awkward silence, it was a pretty small bar.
"Wow, someone has a temper." I hear a famine voice say next to me and I turn to the voice, my cup almost falling out of my hands.
"Monique. What are you doing here?" I ask, panic running through me.
She laughs. "Nice to see you too, Mahone. Well, I was going to go to your mother's wedding but I realized I wasn't even invited because, well, she hates my guts." She slurs and I know damn well she's drunk out of her mind.
"She doesn't hate you. She dislikes you, she has a reason to." I defend and she smiles before asking for another shot of vodka.
"Why are you here anyway? Aren't you supposed to be celebrating?" She asks and I take another swig at the whiskey.
"Don't worry about that. I think we need to get you home to your husband." I say before finishing my drink and I set here down after removing it from her hand.
"What husband? I never got married but sure as hell am pregnant." She giggles and I blink rapidly as I try to process her words and it takes me a while to remember that she's intoxicated.
"God, you're really drunk." I say, before I carry her bridal style across the street and into my car.
I would most likely regret this in the morning.
Becky's POV
"You're probably the most quirkiest person at this party." He laughs and I laugh with him.
"Why do you say that?" I ask and he gives me a smile.
"You're unique. Unusual, in other words. You're not like the rest." He says and I feel my cheeks flush.
"I don't know if that's a good or bad thing." I say, giving him a small laugh and he gives another me a smile before I feel him lean and I could feel his breath hit my lips and I want to stop him, I want to say no but it's been so long, way too long since I've felt a pair of lips touch mine. But I knew too damn well that his lips would never compare to Austin's.
