(His point of view)
It has been quite an eventful day. First with finally coming up with a battle plan. Then, sparring with Thor. But nothing compared to that of hearing Daegan's true confessions. Whilst fight with Thor, I happened to notice them out of the corner of my eye. Daegan and Link quietly chatting over against the fence line. I immediately wished to hear every word they were sharing, for I could see the strained look within Daegan's eyes as he began speaking.
I easily allowed a likeness of myself to continue sparring with my brother, as I instantly transported myself over to stand just behind Daegan's shoulder. I was so silent in my movements that no one seemed to notice my sudden reappearance.
At first, I was furious with him. My suspicions were confirmed when he finally admitted his love for her. I wanted to kill him right there at Link's feet, but by some miracle, I remained calm enough to hear the remainder of his explanation.
As he went on to tell Link of his motives and of his true feelings towards myself, I was almost stunned to find that my anger began to dissipate. I could not believe that he actually stated that I was destined for great things, that I was worthy to be Medina's King. And I admit that I was more than pleased with the fear that overtook his stance as he was told that he must share these things with me.
I am still not happy in knowing that he loves her so, but as Link had stated, I am grateful to finally know the truth. And as much as I hate to admit it, I admire him for being so willing to confess of his wrongdoings. He may have once been a loathsome, despicable excuse for a man. But I have to say that he no longer seems that way. It took a great amount of courage to even confide in Link. For he is well aware of my brother's protective nature towards his sister and even myself. I am once again conflicted with finding the will to forgive him. But, I hear her sweet voice whispering in my ear. Those angelic words from my angel that once spoke of love. It means seeing people for what they really are and accepting them any way. Not dwelling on the bad, but rejoicing in the good.
So it seems that I have no choice but to forgive Daegan. Because I know that, deep down, that is the right thing to do. And I know that this is what she would want me to do.
I smirked at Link when his eyes finally noticed me. I placed a finger over my lips to silence him. I did not want Daegan to know that I heard him. I disappeared in a quiet blur before he even had a chance to turn around.

We head back to the palace on horseback. Upon returning our animals to their stables, I catch a brief glimpse of Breseis standing over in the corner. Her head hangs in a most miserable manner as she sulks lifelessly. I know that she misses Christine and wonders where she is. It causes my heart to ache horribly as I witness her sadness. Before I leave, I enter in to her compartment and pat her on the nose. She looks at me with the most pained expression through her enormous, kind eyes.
"I know, Breseis. I miss her, too." It is almost as if she can understand every word that I am speaking, for she nods whilst leaning her nose further into my hand. I lean my forehead against hers.
"I swear, I will bring her back. We will bring her home."
As I come out of the stables, I find Link, Thor, and Daegan waiting on me before heading back up to the castle. We begin walking as Thor mumbles something about being famished and needing food before he wastes away to nothing.
Once we have entered through the main palace doors, I reach for Daegan's shoulder and force him to turn and face me. As I do, I find his eyes instantly widening. I have to fight back a snicker at his sudden flicker of fear. Thor and Link hover just behind him, but it is Link's face that seems worried. He studies my face, shaking his head as though to say, "Please don't do anything stupid."
