(Her point of view)
"I can....feel him...." I choke out, almost falling into Loki's side. He supports my figure, now holding me up with both arms. The weight of the most insidious nature bares down on me, causing more stinging tears to fall.
"WHO, GODDAMMIT!" Link shouts. I shake my head, closing my eyes. I feel Loki's hand cup my face, forcing my chin up as he scolds my brother for speaking so harshly to me.
"Link, please. Give her a moment. Can't you see that she is in pain?" I hear my brother snort, but as I turn to look at him, his frustrated glare instantly melts only to be replaced with sympathy and remorse. I let my eyes fall to the ground, clinging to my strong Prince's shoulders for support.
"It...it feels as if he is here....right on top of us.....I can..." I choke off again, swallowing hard.
"Christine, look at me," his gentle voice pleads. I take in another deep breath, trying like hel to focus on his calming tone. Finally, I open my eyes as I meet his worried gaze.
"I can feel his hate," I whisper.
"Who, Christine?" he pleads with dire urgency. "Who?"
A sudden shuffle of movement causes our heads to turn towards the startling sound's direction.
"Oh...oh my gods..." I squeak out. Out from amongst the darkening green foliage of the carpeted forest, I see them barely peeking through the drooping leaves.
Eyes. Two red slits of the most hateful nature.
I want to close my eyes again to escape from this hel, but I cannot force myself to look away. Suddenly, a sinister laughter screams through the air. I shiver as it reaches my ears. I know this sneering cackle.....I know it all too well.....It is the same from my most recent nightmare.
"No....." I almost sob, clinging desperately to Loki's shirt. I hear Link unsheathe his sword, as he now has spotted the red that is staring in our direction. I feel Loki's shoulders from underneath my hands go rigid as a muted gasp escapes from between his lips.
"Impossible...." he barely whispers. I know in that instant that he sees them too. Furthermore, I know that he recognizes them. Red eyes....those crimson, blood red eyes....
He knows of them, not from me sharing my nightmare, but from the knowledge that only one creature can claim such a frightening trait. Blood red eyes....white teeth......blue skin......
The foliage begins shifting, twigs snapping loudly under the weight of the nearing figure. I lean further into Loki's secure embrace. We stand, completely frozen, waiting for what feels like an eternity, until finally.....it emerges. He emerges.
An enormous giant. Blue skin. Red eyes. White teeth protruding from behind his satanic, grinning lips. A menacing chuckle growls somewhere from deep within his intimidating figure as he makes his way slowly forward. Loki tugs at me in a firm and domineering manner, forcing me to move so that I am standing behind him. I am completely blocked from the sight. But I cannot keep myself from sneakily peeking around his arm, watching. Waiting....
"Who are you?!" Link demands profoundly, daring an inch forward. The creature acts as though he does not hear him. He continues walking until he comes to a halt just a few short yards from us. I cannot help but notice that his eyes have not looked away from Loki's face. I can practically feel the tension rolling down my Prince's shoulders and into the muscles of his back as they are pressed against my chest. I can still feel the horribly pressing weight of pain pressing into my mind. This, combined with the tension from Loki, causes me to almost become sick to my stomach.
