(Her point of view)

I am engulfed in a glowing warmth. My body feels light as a breath of wind as I float high up into the clouds. I can see the castle below me, the lake; the mountain. Everything looks so much smaller from up here.

The entire land, minus the desert, is blanketed in a glorious layer of magical snow. The sun is shining brilliantly as its reflection causes for the soft powder to practically glow beneath its rays. The winters here are far more beautiful than I had ever realized. I had taken it so much for granted.

I continue gliding upwards until I feel a small hand grasp one of my own. I look over only to find Rehema beaming up at me.

"You did it, Mommy! I knew you could!" I smile at her as I lean down to pick her up. As I bring her into my arms, she giggles and buries her perfect face into my hair.

"Rehema, my Darling, I have missed you so." She giggles once again before pulling herself away from her hidden place within the crevice of my neck.

"I have missed you, Mommy."

Then, an all too familiar pink light suddenly appears to my left. I turn to look in its direction, waiting to see the only one of whom I know can be responsible for such an enrapturing glow. Adrielle.

She is there, hovering over a wavy blanket of lavender and rose colored clouds, smiling at me. She moves forward until stopping only a few inches from us.

"My child..." she whispers. "You courageous, strong woman." I release Rehema, letting her float in the air just beside me, but I never release her precious hand.

"Adrielle, are they safe? Kendha and the child, are they alive?" Her smile widens as she comes closer, placing her hands on my shoulders.

"Yes, Christine. They are alive and well. She delivered shortly after you stopped the bleeding. They are perfectly safe, I can assure you." I let out a breath of relief.

"Oh thank Gods."

She turns from me before floating a short distance away in the direction of the castle, looking out towards the still ocean.

"Christine," she begins. "You were so brave, my Darling. You sacrificed your own life for theirs. There is no greater honor or love than this." I tighten my grip on Rehema's hand. I only wish that I could have been that strong on the night that I had lost her.

"I just could not bare the thought of my sister losing her child," I answer in a soft tone. She turns her gaze back to me. Her gentle eyes are serious.

"You are truly a miracle, my child. Even Loki discovered this as well, that night when you opened your heart up to him and told him of your past. You are a true and rare miracle." I want to break at the sound of his name. I miss him so much already.

I want to cry so badly, but it feels as though I haven't a single tear left to shed. I close my eyes, hanging my head. As wonderfully happy as I am to be reunited with my daughter, I know that something is missing here. And that something is him. How can I truly be happy in the after life without him? It seems that as I am gaining one thing, I shall have to lose another.

"Therefore, for your extreme act of bravery and love, it has been decided by the gods that you shall have the choice of being granted back life." My eyes fly open, looking in her direction.

"What?!" I gasp.

"You may either choose to stay here with me and Rehema and ascend into Valhalla, or you may return to Medina and continue your life with Loki," she explains. I actually have a choice?!
