(Her point of view)

"He could have taken you, Loki," I reply in a quiet tone, attempting to hide the weakening strain in my voice. "I could not just stand by and let him threaten you like that."

He looks at me with such a putrid anger. It causes for my heart to ache in rhythm with my fatiguing muscles. As I continue to decline from my climb, my adrenaline holds steady as I let my eyes take in the chilling blue of his skin.

"Christine!" he shouts through his clenched jawline. His biting tone suddenly causes my anger to rekindle. What the hel is wrong with him? Is he seriously mad that I tried to help?!

I close my eyes, attempting to reign my rising temper back in. If I let it get out of control, it will only quicken my weakness. I have to keep a tight hold on its lid.

"Loki," I begin, trying to calm myself. "I had to help you."

"I am NOT a weakling, Christine! I was not about to let him take me!" He is shouting so loudly that it is echoing through the air in vibrating waves. My temper only continues to escalate without my mental consent. How dare he scold me like this! And all for trying to save him. AGAIN!

"I know that you are not weak, Loki!" I yell whilst moving in closer to his face. As I do, I am forced to look up higher than I am used to. His Jotun form is so much taller than I realized.

"I was only trying to help protect you!" I exclaim. He glares down at me, his eyes burning with rage.

"I do not need your protection! What I need is for you to stop interfering! I need you to do as your told! You used your energy to attempt to kill him. You knew you were not supposed to wield it in such a manner for a while longer! Now you may have quite possibly done irreparable damage to yourself!" His voice rolls out like the thunder that his brother had brought along.

"And now, Heblindi will no doubt make plans to return when we are least expecting it and most likely while you are weak and helpless! He will come with only one intention, to kill anyone that stands in his way and take you as his slave!" His words gnash into me.

"I could have easily killed him myself, but you distracted me! Because of your damn stubbornness and lack of regard for my feelings, I was forced to watch in horror as you unleashed your energy! I could not focus on what I needed to do for fearing that at any moment, you would draw your last breath!" I want to let his words touch me because I know that he truly cares for my wellbeing, but I have been pushed too far now. I am shaking horribly as the mixture of all of my emotions collide with my pressing weakness.

"If you truly knew of a way to end him, then why did you not just do it as he lay helplessly injured?!" I scream, pointing a finger in the direction of the splintered wood.

"I did not distract you! You were just too afraid to let your inner darkness resurface! You did not want to be exposed to the others! You were willing to hold yourself back in order to protect your precious reputation of the amazing, smooth talking God. You did not want the other men to know what you really are or what you are capable of! Don't you dare stand here and reprimand me for what I did! At least I took action! And guess what, oh marvelous God? Despite your desperate attempts to stay hidden, they were in vain, for now they know! They know what you are!"

His eyes widen, somehow filling with more anger than before. He is trembling within his blue restraints as my words seem to cut into him. I feel hot tears burning in the corners of my eyes. I lift a hand pointing a quivering finger towards the warriors at our side.

"Look at them, Loki! Look at these men! Do they honestly wear looks of disgust as they stare at you?" He hesitates, but finally obeys as he turns to gaze over at our small audience. They are staring at us in shock. Fear, maybe. Bewilderment, but not disgust. Not hatred. Each of them still wears a deep look of loyalty as they all allow their eyes to fall onto Loki's face. I shake my head.
