Dear diary,
So, half term is over. Already?! I can't believe it all went so quick. I spent the week dancing, shopping and hanging out and catching up with my best friend Bella, as well as my two close friends Jenny and Selena. It's way too late as normal - wish me luck for getting up tomorrow!

*beep beep* I'm at Skl and Selena is being unsociable as normal on her damn phone 😡 hurry! It's not as if you live far away!
It's a text from Jenna. Her and Selena are my best friends at school. I've always wanted to go to Clovers Academy as its Ofsted 'outstanding' in all areas and does lots of performing arts (my favourite - I'm shy but I can loose myself in dance and in music). Bella has been my best friend since I was 10 when both our friendship groups were causing us pain and we bonded so well - there's nothing we don't know about each other. Jenny and Selena know all my best and worst stories but Bella has lived them with me.
When I passed my 11+ I had to go to Clovers Academy. I had to! That meant leaving Bella but we are still as close as ever and it seems crazy we were so scared of loosing each other.
I grab my headphones and an apple for school and head on the two minute walk to my form room. I'm lucky, I know!

It's English and Mr Lock is droning on about the importance of Shakespeare and a project we'll be doing. I'm practically asleep until I hear the word "partners" and I sit right up! People are difficult. Sever self-consciousness, every conversation you aren't in is about you, everything you say is going to be wrong, people won't agree so don't share your opinion, public speaking is your worst nightmare. Being in a group of 3, I have to work with people I don't know sometimes and it's scary. Especially as Clover Academy is a mixed school! But today I can't get out of it because this prick of a teacher is putting us in pairs himself. Idiot.
He's reading out the partners as my breathing gets harder and then he says it. The worst possible scenario. "Roselyn, you're with Will"
