During this week, week of knowing Mingyu, so much has changed in Wonwoo's life; Wonwoo goes to the school with Mingyu and spends almost all of his school breaks and lunches with him. Everything has changed so quickly - he no longer hangs alone in the hallways, wishing the school days to be over already. Instead of that, he chats with Mingyu, telling lame jokes, or listens to Mingyu's endless - but cute - jabbering. His days are much nicer this way.

But although they have become friends, they do not spend time together on their free time, outside the school building. The time they went to the cafe when they first met is the only time they have ever done so. They see each other at the school only, so Wonwoo assumes they are some sort of school mates.

But earlier today, when they were having a lunch at the noisy canteen of their school, Mingyu asked Wonwoo to go to the swimming bath with him.

The thought of going to the public swimming pool does not sound very tempting since Wonwoo has kind of always hated those. He is not overly confident about his body either. He would be half-naked in front of his freaking crush, and if that is not nerve-wracking nothing is.

But of course Wonwoo finally gave in, there is no way he could have been able to say no to Mingyu, whose eyes were basically glowing when he asked him. And to be honest, he has nothing against seeing shirtless Mingyu.

So, now Wonwoo is packing his swimming trunks, towel and everything needed to his backpack. After he is done with that, he rushes downstairs to eat before leaving.

Wonwoo is walking quickly. He tightens his grip at the backpack's straps, feeling slightly shaky, as he thinks of the upcoming scenes. He gets on to the bus and forgets to greet the bus driver as he is so nervous, walking to the back of the bus. After few bus stops Mingyu will get on to the bus as well. Wonwoo takes few deep breaths in order to calm himself down and tries to seem as normal and as casual as possible. He does not want to make things awkward between the two of them, or mess things up in any way.

"Hello, my dear grandpa," Mingyu smiles as he sits down to the seat next to Wonwoo's. He still calls him by that at times, but Wonwoo does not mind at all, it is their own joke and only they will understand it, which makes him feel like they have something special and are actually pretty close friends already.

"You up for some fun?" Mingyu smirks, making Wonwoo feel butterflies in his stomach, and mumble something indistinct.

Mingyu seems overall normal, or maybe even more energetic than normally, definitely not nervous at all, making Wonwoo feel stupid for being so nervous over something like this, because he is sure that there is no way Mingyu could be feeling the same way towards him.

So, Wonwoo decides to not let his feelings make things difficult and tries his best to push his feelings for Mingyu aside.

_____

Wonwoo shivers as the cold air hits his wet body, wrapping his arms around himself.
"You cold?" Mingyu asks sympathetically and Wonwoo nods, teeth chattering, "let's go to the warmest pool they got here,"

Mingyu looks amazing. It is not surprise though, Wonwoo had expected it, but he did not expect Mingyu to be as fit and as built as he is. Wonwoo's small muscles are nothing compared to Mingyu's muscles. Damn, Mingyu.

Wonwoo dips his toe in the water, "oh, thank god, this is warm," he lets out a sigh, getting in the water.

"You get easily cold, huh?" Mingyu asks rhetorically, and Wonwoo just nods in agreement. He indeed does, and especially his hands are often cold. He loves sweaters and thick shirts - especially oversized ones - because those keep him warm, and he can tug the hems of them over his hands.
