Few days after their evening out - "double date" as Seungkwan calls it - Seungkwan and Vernon are inseparable. Wonwoo and Mingyu on the other hand are still quite awkward around each other but not as awkward as they were few days ago.

The boys are all really excited since their summer holiday starts in just a few days. They have done all of their stressing exams and all they have left is just few more school days and then they're free for few months. Dino is going crazy and he's barely even able to stay still, but luckily there are Seungkwan and Vernon to force him to stay at the school for those few last days they have left, making Mingyu always joke how they look like Dino's parents.

But Dino isn't the only one who is unable to stay calm; Mingyu heard that his father is coming home from his business trip and won't be leaving anytime soon because he has work to do here. Wonwoo could swear that when Mingyu told Wonwoo about his dad coming back home his eyes basically glowed. Wonwoo felt really happy seeing Mingyu all so childishly excited.

Also, Wonwoo and his mother have luckily made up. Wonwoo apologized to her and they talked of a lot of things since they hadn't really talked for a long time. Their relationship got surprisingly quickly back to normal, which made the dark cloud of stress over Wonwoo's head fade. 

Although Wonwoo still has feelings for Mingyu, he has kind of  accepted the fact that they won't become anything more. If possible, he's trying to get them back to being normal Mingyu and Wonwoo. It's hard though, especially when Mingyu still remains clingy and touchy, making Wonwoo confused. It's as if Mingyu would like to keep Wonwoo in his control, whipped for him only.

But despite that, you could say that they are all overall quite happy.

"Have a nice holiday, everyone!" The teacher's words are not heard, as the students all are rushing out of the building, cheering and chatting happily. There's a lot of students trying to make their way out of the building at the same time as quickly as possible and Jeon Wonwoo is - of course - one of those.

Walking on the crazily full hallway, Wonwoo manages to nudge someone next to him. It's Seokmin from the math class. 

"Oh my god. I'm sorry, Seokmin," he quickly apologizes, looking worriedly where he accidentally nudged Seokmin at.

"Don't worry, I barely even felt anything at all," Seokmin laughs it off. 

"Thank god, I thought I hit you hard," Wonwoo smiles at him and starts making his way to the exit again, "have a good summer, Seokmin!"

"Wait!" Seokmin shouts when Wonwoo turns his back and starts to leave. 

Wonwoo turns around, "yeah?" 

"Do you maybe want to come to my party today? I'm throwing a party to celebrate the beginning of summer!" Seokmin beams excitedly, and Wonwoo feels little bit pressured to say yes as he watches Seokmin smile so widely and expectedly. Stopping by couldn't be that bad, right? 

"Yeah, sure. I'd like to come," Wonwoo says, and Seokmin's smile widens more if even possible. Then Seokmin gives Wonwoo his phone number, address and all the information needed. They then bid their goodbyes and walk to different ways.

Wonwoo is surprised, to say the least. Seokmin just invited him to a party. He has never been invited to parties nor has he ever even thought about it. But it'll be nice to try for once, he assumes on his way to home.

As Wonwoo has never really been to parties or anything, he doesn't really know what to wear or what to bring with him. Is he supposed to dress casually? Or more fancily? Does he need money with him? Does he need to bring something with him?

Wonwoo knows only one person who could possibly give the answers to all of the questions he's struggling with, so without thinking twice, he dials Mingyu's number which he has gotten pretty familiar with (and he might remember it by heart already).

Mingyu sounds surprised to hear that Wonwoo is going to the party, since he knows what kind of peace-loving person Wonwoo is. Mingyu isn't able to come with Wonwoo since his dad is on the airplane already on his way home and Mingyu wants to be there when he gets home. But he offers to guide Wonwoo the best he can, and with Mingyu's help, Wonwoo is able to pick the right outfit and stuff he needs. When Wonwoo thanks Mingyu for his help and the call is nearing the end, Mingyu sounds a bit hesitant.

"Wait, who invited you again?"

"Seokmin from my math class," Wonwoo answers shortly, because he doesn't really know much more about him.

"You sure you can trust him?" Mingyu asks carefully, sounding a bit embarrassed of himself being so worried for Wonwoo. 

Wonwoo keeps telling himself that Mingyu is being like this only because Wonwoo doesn't usually  go to parties and this is his first time ever. He tells himself that Mingyu is just being a little bit worried as a friend.

"Yes, I am. He isn't a murderer or anything, he seems pretty nice."

"Are you planning on drinking alcohol?"

Wonwoo has never drunk alcohol and Mingyu knows that. He also knows that Mingyu drinks occasionally with his friends and that Mingyu used to drink quite often but hasn't drunk since he met Wonwoo and started hanging out with him instead of his huge friend groups.

"I don't know," Wonwoo answers because he really doesn't know. He hasn't really had much time to think about it yet.

"Just... Just promise me that you'll be careful with alcohol and everything," Mingyu says quietly, as if saying it quietly would hide the concerned tone of his voice, "because it's your first time drinking," he adds quickly.

Wonwoo just smiles at his best friend's cute concern and reassures him that he'll be careful.

Mingyu tells Wonwoo to call or text him at times during the night so that he knows what's going on, and Wonwoo tells Mingyu to not worry and have fun with his family.

The boys hang up soon after and Wonwoo starts getting ready quickly, since he doesn't have much time left before the party as he and Mingyu ended up talking on the phone a lot longer than he expected.

Wonwoo feels his stomach filling up with butterflies from the excitement, but still, still it isn't as amazing feeling as the feeling he gets when he's with Mingyu.

i know i said that now that im on my holiday i can update more often, and i know that i haven't been keeping my promise, but there's an explanation; i've been pretty busy with my jobs.

and also, i've been drafting a new meanie fic which i will start updating after finishing this! (and it wont be long before i finish this fic bc im running out of motivation for this and it's nearing the ending anyway T-T)
