It has been a few weeks since you started your job at the cafe and you started getting used to your surroundings. You settled in an apartment and already have it in a style you liked and thought was simple and neat. You still enjoyed the city of Berk as much as when you first arrived but you don't get enough free time anymore between work and the online classes you've been taking. Although you were getting used to the environment, you were still waiting for your ride to be shipped in from home. You found that you could care less if it arrived sooner or later.

Currently, you were waiting tables and cleaning those that were left. You have enjoyed your job and thought was perfect for your current situation. It payed well and the owner was super understandable and sweet. You didn't have to wear anything embarrassing either. The dress code was black top (preferably with sleeves), black pants, and any black close-toed shoes with an apron. You were wearing a black t-shirt with black skinny jeans and black flats, today, simple and clean.

The bell ring from the entrance signifying customers just entered. "Go ahead, and seat yourselves," you called while still finish cleaning a table, "I'll be with you in a minute."

Today, you were the only one working besides the owner and the chef. You glanced over your shoulder to see who has come in and where that sat. Once you did, you finished wiping the table and walked over to them with a notepad and pen in hand.

"Welcome to the cafe, may I start you gentlemen with drinks?" you smiled kindly.

You recognized one of the males as a regular that comes at least once every other day to have his dose of coffee, but you usually didn't serve him. As a matter of fact, this was the first time serving him. You were unfamiliar with the other male.

The regular was about to speak but was interrupted by his companion. "I could drink you up, sweet cheeks." The unfamiliar customer flirtatiously leaned forward with his head leaning on his hand and his elbow on the table while he smirked.

You rose a delicate eyebrow but return to your civil smile. "I recommend today's special, a caramel latte with a honey walnut scone. It's perfect to warm you up from today's weather."

The customer was about to speak but his companion, the regular, spoke up, "I'll take one order of today's special and he'll just have black coffee."

You nodded and wrote down the order before looking up again, asking, "Will that be all today?"

You saw the guy who flirted with you perk up seeing another opportunity but the regular stopped him by putting a hand in front of him and quickly saying, "Yes."

"Okay," you smiled, "I'll be back with your guys' order."

You rung up the scone from the chef and started brewing new coffee. The cafe was quiet with only a few tables filled. You didn't mind working days like these by yourself. Tuesdays usually were the quietest days of the week for you and they were the days you worked alone. You would think Mondays were quiet but it was the opposite. Because it was the beginning of a work week, people would dread and would need energy to start their week with your work's coffee.

The coffee pot filled while you made the latte. When you finished putting each drink in their own coffee cup, the chef rung a bell indicating the scone was ready to be picked up. You put each idem on a tray and brought over the order. You saw the regular give you a grateful smile, but you saw his companion looked grouchy and was pouting like a spoiled child not receiving what he wanted. "Here's a caramel latte with a honey walnut scone and black coffee," you repeated.

"Thank you," the regular smiled more, "and you can ring up the bill anytime."

You nodded, "I'll be right back."

You came back a little after with the bill. When you slipped the bill over to the regular, you couldn't help but hear the conversation they had.

"Father was proud when he heard I was going into politics just like him, but this time I plan for something far bigger than what my father achieved," the unfamiliar customer remarked.

"Oh," the regular sarcastically rose an eyebrow, "and what would that be?" He took a sip from his latte.

"By taking over the Parliament," the customer grinned crazily.

When you heard that, you couldn't help but widen your eyes in worry. The regular saw your reaction and couldn't help but chuckle lowly. Once you gained back your senses, you gave a sympathetic smile to the regular and quickly walked away returning to your work. When it was about time to leave for the two of them, they came to the counter to pay for the bill.

"I hope you two enjoyed today's visit?" you asked kindly while ringing up the register.

"I enjoyed it more since you served me, sweet cheeks." The persistent customer pushed his companion out of the way so he could lean over the counter to get closer to you. You smiled nervously.

"Knock it off. You're starting to scare her," the regular scowled annoyingly.

The unfamiliar gave a sideways glare to his friend before standing up and start walking out the door while saying to you, "I'll see you around."

You shuddered noticeably and gave the regular's card back. "Hey," he called, "don't mind him. That's Daniel, my cousin. He's always creepy." He shook his head slightly with a chuckle.

"You seem fond of him," you said sarcastically, giving him his receipt.

"I was forced to have some bonding time with him."

You hummed, "Well, good luck with that."

You started to walk off until he called you again. "Hey, wait," you looked up to the regular with black rimmed glasses, "weren't you the girl who was on the park's bench, playing with Toothless?"

You had to think for a moment and you tilt your head to the side slightly in thought. Your mind flashed to the first week of being in Berk and you remembered feeding a black lab. "Oh, the dog!" you exclaimed in realization, "You're the dog's owner."

The regular chuckled, "Yeah, sorry about that. It was strange, though. Toothless doesn't seem to like strangers very often, but he was fond of you. I lost him for a moment, then the next I found him in front of you."

You smiled gently, "No need to be sorry, there was no harm. He was a good dog. You have a lucky one and I can tell he loves you very much."

He smiled back, highlighting his freckles and put out his hand, "Henry."

You met him halfway and shook hands, "[Name]."

"It's nice to meet you, [Name]. I hope to see you around," he waved before heading out.

You waved back, "Bye, Henry. You know where to find me."

The last thing you saw from him as he turned the corner was a cheesy grin.
