You heard a knock on your bedroom door from where you stood in the bathroom. You were currently getting ready to meet with your others friends to have a friendly lunch with them until Henry popped his head around the corner giving you a charming smile. You had a deja-vu moment when you saw the slight gapped tooth gap like he had when the two of you were smaller. You looked away to the mirror in embarrassment when you caught yourself staring and comparing him to his younger self.

"Good morning," he greeted, "Almost ready?"

You chuckled to yourself when you remembered the days of waking up early to get ready and go on a walk to the park whether it be a date or it was a training session with Chestnut. Something that was always remembered to you was how long it took for you to get ready and the constant waiting Henry had to do in your room. There would be sometimes where you took especially long on purpose to just get Henry going. Whenever you did this, he would give extras compliments on why you shouldn't wear make up. Of course, there were also an exchange of kisses he would give to you tenderly in which you took a guilty pleasure in. But today wasn't that day.

"Yes," you smiled, "I'll be out in a minute."

You finished the light touch up on your make up before turning to him with a genuine smile playing on your lips. He smiled back at you and swooped in for a peck that you had no time to respond before he pulled away from you. He grabbed your hand and pulled you down the garage with him where your bikes were at. He opened the garage door while you put on your helmet. You rode out as Henry followed behind you. He gave gas to his bike to catch up to you so he could lead the way. You looked to your side with a hiding grin and followed him in and out of traffic until you reached a decent looking brunch cafe.

"Eira is so going to kill us when she finds out," you chuckled as you took off your helmet and fixed you disordered hair.

Just at the entrance, you could see your group of friends waiting outside for a table for you and your friends to sit at. Eric and Allison were the first ones to notice the two of you, then the rest followed their line of sight. Allison waved as Eric stood up from his seat where benches were placed for waiting guests.

"Who says Eira has to find out?" he chuckled back.

You and Henry walked towards your friends once you have settled everything with your bikes. What you thought was weird is when Henry held you hand as you have gotten closer to your friends. You looked at him strangely but he wasn't making eye contact with you. Instead he was having a staring contest with Eric. You found it rather odd since they have never acted like this before, at least, while you were around.

Just before all of you went in, you tugged on Henry's sleeve to get his attention. His eyes snapped towards you and immediately there was a change of emotion in his eyes.

"What is it?" he asked curiously.

"Uh," you hesitated, "Nothing." It might have been your imagination because Henry looked perfectly fine now. You dismissed it while shaking your head, trying to shake off the thought.

"We're sorry for the wait," a waitress apologized as she showed you to a certain area in the restaurant, "We didn't have room, but we hope you don't mind. We put together a table and a booth."

"We don't mind," Allison said with a polite smile.

You took the seat in the booth next to the wall and Henry joined you with the remaining space next to you. He didn't hesitated to wrap an arm around your shoulders as the others sat down at the joined tables with Eric sitting in front of you and Allison next to him.

And then, it happened again.

Before the waitress could even get your guys' drinks, Henry and Eric had a staring contest again. You itched the back of your head in annoyance. You growled slightly when they were still going at it.

"What can I get you guys to drink?" a kind looking waitress smiled.

"I'll have some water," you answered just as kindly.

"Same here," Allison added.

The rest of the gang voiced their choice but Eric and Henry were too entrance still. You had enough. You elbowed Henry and kick Eric to snap them out of it at the same time.

"Ow!" they cried out the same time.

"What would you guys like to drink?" you smiled innocently.

They murmured what they wanted while rubbing where you hit them. You were getting even more annoyed when they secretly were glancing towards each other.

"Henry, can I talk to you for a minute?" you asked with a slight tense smile.

"Uh," he stuttered unsurely, "Sure."

Becau;se of the crowded restaurant, the two of you had to go outside to not block any traffic. You pulled him outside by his wrist. You turned sharply his way before bluntly coming out.

"Are you bi by any chance?"

"What?" he immediately responded with. His brows were furrowed and his eyes stared at you in a shock confusion.

"Are you bi?" you repeated.

"No! Wh--" he blinked severally and shook his head a little, "What makes you think that?!"

You gave a suspicious look while you crossed your arms. "Ever since we got here, you've been ogling Eric nonstop and vise versa. I'm starting to think you fancy him.

"You think--?!" he stopped himself and pinched the bridge of his nose, "I can't do this anymore."

You raised an eyebrow. "Do what?"

"[Name]," he started with a sigh, "The guy likes you."

Your neck jerked slightly back and uncrossed your arms in slight shock. "What?"

"Eric has a crush on you since..." he trailed out in thought, "Possibly since you two have known each other."

"What?!" you said more loudly, "Why would you tell me this?! Now, it's going to be awkward!"

"Sorry!" he hissed, "But it was annoying how you were so oblivious you were being!"

"I thought you two had a thing going on!"
