You and Henry were kicked outside of the office despite knowing the argument was about you. You didn't bother waiting though. You took this advantage to pull a pin out of your hair and start clicking with the lock of your cuffs.

"What are you doing?" Henry whispered in panic.

"Leaving," you whispered bluntly. You heard a click and the cuff came off lose on one hand and you started on the other one. "I'm not risking your father to talk to mine. My father doesn't change his mind that easily."

"No!" he yelled still in a whisper, "Just let my father handle it."

"No offense to you or to the mayor, but my father couldn't give a shit what you father is threatening with." You finally got the last one off and rubbed your wrists from the ache the cuffs left behind.

"Who said my father is threatening anything?"

"Huh?" You raised an eyebrow at him with a dumbfounded look.

Henry smiled in confidence, "My father doesn't threaten anyone. He only believes in protecting the ones he cares about."

You scoffed, "I doubt your father cares about me at all. I just met him. I'm going." You waved behind you as you walked to the exit. "It's best if we don't see each other, bye."

At those words, Henry eyes widen and he reaches out on impulse. He grabbed a hold on you as gently as he could muster without missing a beat.

"Don't go!"

"Listen, Henry, I know how you feel," you started.

"No! Just wait, please?" he begged, "How are you going to solve your problems if you keep running away?"

You tugged Henry close to yours so you were face-to-face. Henry pushed down a hue that creeped on his face.

"I've been trying since day one," you whispered in frustration, "He gave me no choice but to run away."

"Just please, wait for my father to talk to him," he begged again, "If it doesn't work out, then I'll help you escape."

Your eyes widen slightly at statement. You were finally aware of the close proximity and pushed yourself away while mumbling, "Fine." You crossed you arms stubbornly. "But, don't expect me to wear those cuffs again. They hurt."

"Fair enough," he chuckled. Henry couldn't help but find your attitude cute because he knows you were serious but you're trying for him.

Not too long after, the double-doors opened to reveal Heather with a key and your father and the mayor talking behind her.

"I'm glad we came to this agreement, Mr. [Last name]," the mayor smiled as he shook hands with your father.

"What agreement?" you asked in suspicion.

Heather looked at your wrists for the cuffs. "How did you take the cuffs off?" she asked annoyed.

"Learned myself," you dismissed, "You tend to learn things when you're literally locked in a room for the rest of your life. Now, what agreement?"

"Ms. [Last name]," Henry's father called.

You froze and tensed when someone else called you. You were rebellious with your father, sure, but that didn't mean you didn't have respect for those of high power.

"Yes, sir?" you answered.

"Your father and I have come to an agreement of letting you stay in Berk," he said.

"Wait, what?!" you exclaimed.

"Under one condition, that is," your father added.

You groaned.

I knew it!

"As long as you are here, you will be staying at the Haddock residence," your father instructed.

At this both you and Henry eyes widen and shouted.

"What?!"
